Chapter Two: Meeting Jason

******Jason's POV ******

I was at the pack meet to give them the latest news about what happened to our neighboring pack, The Blue Shine Knight Pack. Alpha Blake, Beta Sam, Bran and I have been best friends since we were in diapers, but seen how he is four year older than me. He became alpha before I did, and was too busy to hang out like we use to do before.

"This meeting is to warn that no one is allowed to be in the forest alone, and if you are caught then you will be punished. There has been an attack on our neighboring pack, the Blue Shine Knight Pack. They lost about 10 men on this secret attack so from now on we are on high alert and we will start to train the new shifters in three days time. Am I clear"? I started letting a little of my alpha voice to slip out so everyone know how serious this really is.

I look around to see my pack member fill with grave faces. Men pull their mates and kids close to them. While my warriors had on business faces meaning that if anyone dare to attack they will fight to the dead to protect our pack and families. "Am I clear" I asked cholericly when no one had answered.

"Yes alpha," everyone reply back as their faces fill with business and protection look in their eyes.

"You're all dismissed," I said radiantly. As soon as I said that, everyone started leaving and begun to talk to one another. I saw Benjamin all the way at the back of the pack. He is the runt of the pack because he didn't turn at the age of 13 like all of us guys do; I have seen him stare at me and Bran with a bit of lust . I have a crush on him and I know Bran does too, but I can't tell him that I have a crush on his crush. It would hurt him. Bran and I will find our mate, tomorrow night anyways.

As long as I could remember Bran has been my best friend and is the soon to be beta of our pack. His dad, Alex, and my dad, Andrew, are the best of friends. So technically we were bond to be best friends. Alex is the right hand or in better terms, beta of the pack, so Bran will inherit the beta position from his father when he finds his mate. Bran has Lily's (his mom); light blue eyes, but got his dad's dark brown hair in a bad boy style like his dad had his, back in the days.

Yes you heard me correct. Alex was the bad boy, and player, of their high school days back before he met Lily, or that is what my dad had told me. I don't know how I have a crush on him? But I do, it's like a girl or guy having a crush on her or his favorite boy band or the school's most popular, bad boys.

Jason Jake Jackson is the name. My mom came up with that name, eventually naming me after her grandfather. My birthday is on November 10, 2002 which will make me 18 in two weeks time. I have my dad's dark black hair; unlike him that has it in a wave, I have it in a mess but sexy style. I also have my mom's light green eyes. My father is the current alpha of the pack, Dust Fall Pack, and in six or so month he will retire as alpha of the pack and would join the supernatural council, which are the ones to keep peace between the pack and different species around the world.

Dust Fall Pack is the largest pack in Willow Creek, California, USA; and is the second largest pack in the western part of the United State. The pack has a total number of one thousand seven hundred and ten members. Out of that total, three hundred and fifty of the members are kids that haven't yet gotten through their first shift. Whereas, four hundred and fifty are teenage, which just gotten through their first shift in the last four years, and have gotten through they train on how to control their wolves. The territory runs for about seventy-nine point twenty-eight kilometer square.
