"Please!" he says as he rests his forehead against mine.
I sighed and nodded, and he kissed my forehead. He took a step back, and I sat on the chair to put on my anklet.
He took them from my grasp and knelt in front of me, placing my foot on his thighs and tying the anklets one at a time. His thumb slid back and forth on my foot. I shivered slightly and closed my eyes, feeling goosebumps on my legs and arms.
A clicking sound echoed throughout the room. "Woah!" I open my eyes and turn to face Muktha and Barkha, who are standing at the door. Muktha walked back, muttering about a fantastic photograph.
Barkha smirked, raising her eyebrows at Rudra, who was still kneeling on the floor with my foot placed on his thighs.
I tried to pull my leg back, but he stopped me. "Close the door behind you," he said flatly, "Thank you," and smiled at her to appear polite.
"That was impolite, Rudra!" I said as I rose from my chair.
"What? I was being nice! I thanked her and smiled, did not I?" I rolled my eyes at his over-the-top behaviour. "Do not roll your eyes at me," he said, towering over me with his large frame.
What is the harm in rolling my eyes? They are mine, and I can do whatever I want with them; I roll them, I play with them; it is entirely up to me.
"Or what?" I wanted to say everything that was on my mind, but I decided to ask a simple question instead.
He snaked his arm around my waist, holding me firmly, and leaned into my ear. "Dare you to roll your eyes at me again, and I will give you a better reason to do it." he gritted.
I gasped, taking a step back from him with wide eyes as I understood the meaning behind his words. He chuckled at my reaction and rubbed my back.
"Uh-- dow- downstairs," I fumbled to say something, and I avoided his gaze while trying to hide my heated face.

We were all waiting for the delivery of our pizzas in the living room. While Rahul and Muktha exchanged flirtatious glances, Bhai and Barkha engaged in a conversation. Athwa and Sumit were playing with their cars.
Then there are Taara and Rudra. She is doing it again, but this time she is painting his nails, orange, Because she thinks orange would look good on him and pink did not work for him.
His phone rang, and I informed him. "Rudra! Your phone is ringing.
"Can you check? Who is it?" Nodding, I picked up the phone.
"It is someone, Shanaya Shetty."
Rahul snatched the phone from my hand as I reached out to give it to Rudra
"It's-- it's my girlfriend," he said, and he walked out of the house nervously. When Muktha saw me, she gave me a sad smile.
When the door slammed, the sound reverberated throughout the house, and I turned to look, I saw that Rudra was not there. I started to walk towards the door, but Sumit stopped me and told me it would be best if I stayed inside.
I stepped outside anyway and saw Rahul frantically talking on the phone as Rudra marched up to him. After grabbing the phone, Rudra began yelling and cursing at whoever was on the other end.
What is going on?
He threw the phone and trampled on it. Rahul tried to talk to him, but Rudra pushed him back.
I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder. He turned around furiously, exhaling sternly, his chest heaving rapidly with each breath.
"What is wrong? Who was on the call?" I asked in a slow voice, but he shook his head.
"She was my girlfriend and his business partner, but she cheated on the business side, resulting in a significant loss." Rahul responded instead of Rudra.
Rahul and Rudra exchanged a quick glance before he walked away, leaving the two of us alone.
"Let us go," Rudra said, pressing his hand against my back and encouraging me to walk.
"She was not his girlfriend, was she?" I said this as I tilted my head to look at him. He sighed and nodded; he did not want to talk about it, so I did not make him.

After tucking the kids into bed, I was finally in my own bed. The dinner was awkward, and Rudra, his friends, and Muktha were all tense.
Now that I think about it, his nightmares and his screams about not killing anyone, combined with this phone call, he is a nervous wreck.
I guess I am not the only one who has something hidden.
I rolled onto my side and closed my eyes, hoping to fall asleep. The bed dipped, and then an arm wrapped around my waist.
"What are you doing?" I asked, trying to remove his arm.
"Sleeping. What else does it look like?" He drew me in close, flush against him.
"Leave me, then sleep," I said, squirming and elbowing him in the stomach.
He simply tightened his arm and said, "Darling, stop wiggling your ass on my cock."
Let me know what you think about what happened in this chapter.
