I lay in bed, still feeling shaken by what I saw earlier. I can't seem to shake the feeling of being watched, and every noise outside makes me jump. I try to close my eyes and drift off to sleep, but my mind keeps racing.

I keep replaying the image of the shadowy figure in my head, wondering who it was and what they wanted. I feel vulnerable and exposed, and it's hard to relax.

I try to remind yourself that I'm safe, that it was probably just a random person passing by, but the fear lingers. I toss and turn, hoping that sleep will come soon.

But it didn't...

It's already 9pm..I couldn't sleep yet I had already finished my snacks.

I sit back at my bed, staring blankly at my phone screen. I can't seem to focus on anything, my mind keeps drifting back to what happened earlier.

I feel violated and exposed, and it's hard to shake the feeling of being watched.

I try to distract myself by scrolling through social media or reading the news, but nothing seems to hold my attention.

I keep replaying the scene in my head, wondering who it was and why they were spying on me.

I feel like I can't trust anyone and that the world is a dangerous place–Weird right?

I feel like I'm stuck in a state of limbo, unable to move on until I figure out what happened.

Maybe I should call someone on phone.
I quickly went to my call log,And searched for Ava's number.I failed it but it was switched off.I decided to call Mia,but hers ranged twice but to no avail.

"Who would be awake now?Probably Ben or Aiden"I searched for Aiden's number and dialed it.

He answered immediately.
"Hello...Emily!"His voice was so deep,That it got me smiling awkwardly.
"Well Hi"I said.
"It's so late already, why did you call?"He said..
"Um..I just felt like talking to you"I smirked

Wait did I just say that to him?

"I guess your missing me Emily"He said.

I heart raced a bit.

"No way Aiden!"I said slowly.

There was silence for a while.

"Hey, babe," he said, his voice low and slow. "What's up?"
"Why ain't you saying anything"He said.

I smiled at the sound of his sleepy voice.
"Babe?Nothing much," I replied. "I got your invitation."

"To my birthday party tomorrow?"Aiden asked softly.
"Obviously!"I rolled my eyes in so much sarcasm.

Aiden chuckled softly.

"Well I couldn't find you at school,so I gave it to your friend"He said.
"They already told me!But you didn't tell me your birthday was tomorrow"I smirked.

"I wanted to but..."
"But what?..You were too busy to tell me"I rolled my eyes.
"No I wasn't,I just forgot to tell you"
"Whatever!"I heaved a sigh.

He chuckled again,Like what I was saying was funny.

"Hey Emily,You know I always love hearing from you," he said. "But I'm pretty tired. I don't know how good of a conversation I'll be able to have."

"It's okay,I can see you are tired,Your voice says it all
I said. "I just wanted to hear from you,Thank you for sacrificing some of your bed time for me."

For the next few minutes, I listened to Aiden's sleepy voice as he talked about how his birthday will turn out tomorrow and his plans for the week.

His words were a bit slurred, and he kept yawning in the middle of sentences, but I didn't mind. I found his sleepy voice to be incredibly soothing, and it made me feel closer to him.

Eventually, Aiden's voice grew even slower, and his words became more mumbled. I could tell that he was drifting off to sleep.

"Hey, babe," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I think I'm going to have to go to bed now. I'm sorry."

"Babe??"I said surprise . "Well Sleep well, Aiden."

"Goodnight," he murmured, and then the line went silent.

I hung up the phone, feeling a warmth in my heart. Even though their conversation had been short and awkward, hearing Aiden's sleepy voice had made me feel closer to him than ever before. I knew that no matter how tired he was, he would always make time for me.

I felt relax a bit and slowly fell asleep.

When it comes to picking an outfit to see a friend off at the airport, I like to keep it simple and comfortable.

I usually wear a pair of jeans or leggings, a comfortable top, and a light jacket or sweater. I also make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as I know that I'll be doing a lot of walking.

I like to keep my accessories to a minimum, as I know that I'll be going through security. A simple necklace or bracelet is usually enough to add a little bit of flair to my outfit.

Overall, I think it's important to wear something that I feel comfortable and confident in. I want to be able to focus on saying goodbye to Mia, not worrying about my outfit.

I woke up at 6:00 am, feeling groggy and tired. But I knew that I had to get up if I wanted to see Mia off. I quickly got dressed and made my way to the airport.

Ben was already downstairs waiting for me with with Ava.We were all going to see Mia off.I bade Mum goodbye and we drove off.
We arrived at the airport,I could see Mia at the counter.
"Hey, you made it," she said, giving me a big hug.

"Of course I did," I replied. "I wouldn't miss this for the world."

Together, we headed to the departure gate, chatting and reminiscing about old times. I could see the excitement in Mia's eyes, but I could also sense the sadness that was lurking just beneath the surface.

As we arrived at the gate, I could see that Sarah was getting more and more nervous. I knew that it was time for me to say goodbye, but I didn't want to let her go just yet.

We hugged and chatted for a few minutes before she had to go through security.

As we walked towards the security checkpoint, I could feel the weight of the moment. I knew that this was the last time I would see Mia for a while, and I wanted to make the most of it.

"Hey, listen," I said, taking her by the hand. "I'm so glad we became friends,I don't know when we'll meet again. You're an amazing friend, and I'm going to miss you so much."

"Yes Mia,We'll miss you so much"Ava burst into tears.
Mia smiled and gave us a hug. "Thanks," she said. "I had a great time. We'll have to do this again soon,I love you guys."
Ben comes to give her a hug.

Before that As soon as I heard that my friend, Mia, was moving to Australia, I knew that I had to see her off at the airport. We had been friends since we were kids, and the thought of her moving halfway around the world was both exciting and terrifying.

Now The day of her flight arrived,Luckily I made my way to the airport early in the morning. I was nervous and excited all at once, but I knew that I had to be strong for Mia.

"Hey, listen," I said, taking her by the hand. "I know that this is scary, but you've got this. You're going to have an amazing adventure, and I'll be here waiting for you when you get back."

Mia smiled and gave me another hug. "Thanks," she said. "I'm going to miss you so much."

I watched her disappear from view. I felt a little bit sad, but I knew that we would stay in touch. And I was grateful to have been there to see her off.Ava and I both burst into tears.

As the boarding call came over the loudspeaker, I knew that it was time for me to go. I gave Mia one last hug and wished her a safe and happy trip.

I watched her board the plane, I couldn't help but feel a little bit sad. But I knew that Sarah was going to have the time of her life in Australia, and I was grateful to have been there to see her off.
