Escaping Lockdown

Start from the beginning

"Haha no worries! I can just bring you with me! That way you can pick out the donuts you want!" she said. Your eyes widened at her, before you could decline and spare her the trouble she threw you on her back making you yelp.

She spun a web to the shop and flung off the bridge. Your legs wrapped around her waist. You gripped her shoulders insanely tight trying not to look down. You flew through the air before she landed parallel to the wall and walked into the shop. All the blood rushed to one side of your body at the state of gravity. A few Spiders giggled at your nervous state as you passed by. You tilted your head trying to get an upright view of the shop inside, there was a ton of pastries and sweets behind pink stained glass with adorable frosting that had different variations of Spidermen faces.

"Go ahead, pick however many you want!" The pink Spider said as you peered over her shoulder. You saw a box of assorted donuts in a cute pink and white striped box, each donut consisted of the classic red and blue Spiderman suit colors topped with white sprinkles. You grinned like an excited kid.

"Can I get a box of those please?" you pointed to the assortment.

"Ohhh cute! We'll take one of those, and I'll take the 'Hero Cookie' of the week please~!" she said over the counter.

The pink Spider woman had dropped you back off on the bridge after you got your orders. You thanked her repeatedly while shaking her hand. She laughed at your over politeness and reassured you anyone would've done it.

"If you're ever around, I'll swing you over anytime! I'm here almost every other day, I love the cookies of the week~! We should chat sometime uh..."

"Y/n!" you finished for her. She giggled with a hand over her masked face.

"Y/n, it was lovely meeting you. You're adorable~! See ya around!" she winked with a wave before leaping off the bridge again with her cookie in hand.

"See ya!" you blushed as you watched her swing away. You held the box of donuts smiling. Today was turning out way better than you'd expected.

'So glad I'm out of my room. Totally worth it! '

You continued wandering for a while through the Spiderbase's hall. You came across all kinds of fun shops and structures that looked almost like giant playgrounds for the Spiders. You passed by labs of people that were doing crazy tech and chemical stuff in front of a long corridor of windows. People smiled, said hello, handed you free Spiderman merch, and gave you directions when they could tell you were lost. All in all the facility was amazing, everyone here was amazing. It really was a Utopian society in a beautiful world protected by the universe's strongest humans. You never thought humanity could achieve this kind of living, but here you were walking in it.

And to think, that Spider-boss is the one holding this all together.

You frowned at the thought, feeling guilty for causing him more stress to his already difficult job. It was almost unfathomable to think a human being could carry so much weight on their shoulders. Saving dimensions, protecting people, assembling a team, being a hero the public could look up to and depend on, it was all on him. Sure, he may be an ass to you and high strung, but you had a huge amount of respect for who he was as a person. You understand his reasons for being so wary of you now.

You sighed looking into your cutely packaged box of donuts. 'He didn't like it the first time, but maybe he'll like one of these better. They're his colors.' you thought.

After walking further down the bridge you were currently on, you came to another large entrance that was trafficked with Spidermen. You saw a few of them flex at each other and playfully fight as they walked out. You looked up to the massive lettering at the top of the entrance.
