Today Areum was going to the beach with Heeseung, Jake and Sunoo. Last night she brought up that it had been a while since she'd been to the beach and the three boys agreed, so they decided to go together. The others were going to come as well but they were busy.
They all got onto the beach and set up their towels in the sand. Areum laid down her towel besides Sunoo's and sat down on it. She rummaged through her bag and took her sun screen out. She squirted it in her hands and put it on her legs, arms, back, chest, neck and then brought out a mirror so she could put it on her face. Once she had put all the sun screen she needed she laid on the towel and threw the sun screen at Heeseung
"Ow!" He exclaimed, clutching his arm "Why'd you do that?"
"You need to put it on" she said, shading her eyes from the sun with her hand "I know you forgot it so don't lie to me. And both of you as well"
Heeseung sighed "Okay" He put the sun screen on and passed it to the others for them to use. It took about 30 minutes until all the boys had finished using the product. Arem sat up and waited for them. She took her hat off, flipped her hair out of her eyes and put it back on
"Can you guys hurry up" She exclaimed "I wanna swim"
"Calm down, little mermaid" Jake sighed, smiling at her
She glared at him before standing up "Come on, Sunoo" she sighed, holding her hand out for him
Sunoo laughed and took her hand "Bye guys"
"No! Ari!" Jake exclaimed, standing up and running after the two "Heeseung! come on!" The two chased the others to the ocean. Areum stopped running and turned to the two boys running after them. They stood next to them and joined hands. They counted down and ran into the ocean, all of them screaming at the coldness "Why is it burning me?!" Areum yelled, jumping around
"It's like the arctic!" Heeseung cried, quickly walking around "Ari! we just have to go under and get it over with!" he said, turning to Areum
"Hell no!" She exclaimed, running away "Jakey, save me!" she yelled, hiding behind Jake
"Come on, Ari!" Heeseung laughed, trying to grab her "It'll be fun!"
"In what world is freezing to death fun?!" Areum yelled "Jake, Sunoo, help!" she grabbed Sunoo and pulled him in front of her "He's trying to kill me!" Areum didn't hear anything for a few seconds "What's going on?!" she exclaimed, standing on her tip toes to see over Jake's shoulder. All she saw was Heeseung grinning evilly "What's going on?" she asked
Heeseung counted down "Time to freeze, ice queen" He laughed. Jake and Sunoo moved out of the way and Heeseung jumped on Areum.
As soon as Areum came back up she screamed "Heeseung!" she yelled "I hate you so much" she laughed, pushing her wet hair away from her face "Come here!" She exclaimed, walking over to him
"You can't get me!" He laughed, looking back at her
Areum quickly caught up to him and dragged him under "You thought!" she laughed when he came up
"Peace?" He asked, wiping his face and holding his hand out
"Okay" She shrugged with a smile, grabbing his hand and shaking it. For a few more minutes they played in the ocean, cackling and screaming.
Once they'd gotten bored of the ocean they went back to their towels. Hae laid down and closed her eyes "I'm going to tan so no body speak to me" She said
"Wanna make a sand castle with me?" Jake asked, looking at his friend who was laying down
Hae took a moment to think before sitting up "Yeah" she shrugged, sitting beside Jake. They built two big sand castles with four small ones on each of their sides "This is so cool" she smiled, admiring their creation
"We should decorate it" He said. Hae nodded and grabbed a bunch of shells. For the next 10 minutes they sat there and put the shells on each of the sand castles. After they'd finished Areum sat back and covered her mouth
"It's beautiful" She whispered, looking over at Jake
"A masterpiece" He nodded "We're architects, Ari"
"We shoulder seriously consider designing buildings" She said, pushing her hair away from her face and putting her hat on "We could be rich"
"We could be multi millionaires" He said, smiling at her
"Honestly" She sighed "Anyway i'm gonna tan now" She moved back and laid down
After a few hours of talking they decided to leave "Sunoo" Areum smiled "Want me to carry your bag?" she asked, looking at him
"No it's okay" He smiled "Thank you though"
"Why didn't you ask me?" Heeseung exclaimed
"You're grown man, you can hold your own bag" She said, narrowing her eyes at him
"So's sunoo" He exclaimed
"But it's Sunoo" She smiled, wrapping an arm around the boy's shoulders "I'd do anything for him"
"I thought you'd do an-" Jake started, getting interrupted by a crowd of fans screaming
"Areum!" One exclaimed "Look here! look over here!" Areum ignored them and kept looking forward, gripping onto Sunoo. They got to the car and quickly got in. Areum made sure the others were in first before she got into the car, slamming the door behind her. They left the beach and went back to the dorm. Areum washed her hair and got ready for bed. Sunghoon came in not long after and they ate food Serena and Thea made. After that they went to sleep. Areum fell asleep very easily and dreamed of being a sea gull, flying over the beach.
