All 17 of the accepted contestants stepped into the rotating egg structure, leaving behind 7 of them who would now be sent to an unknown place called 'the ground'. It takes a few seconds until the egg opens and reveal glass windows, concrete walls, fake rocks and 13 chairs splayed out in a curved shape.

"Wahh!" Someone exclaims "it's amazing!"

"it's kinda scary" Areum says to no one in particular, the boy next to her chuckling "Is my fear amusing to you?" She chuckles

"yes it is" The boy responds

"wow" she smiles "What's your name?"

"Jay" he tells her "your's? or is it scardey cat" he jokes, crossing his arms

"Actually it's Areum" she retorts, a grin on her face "Oh wait everyone's gone!" she laughs, jumping out of the egg and running to join the group, all of them laughing at the two

They listen to the robotic voice as it tells them they need to vote out four people. Areum looks around the group. Who am i going to vote out? she thinks, trying to remember their past performances. After a few seconds the group breaks up, all of them going to look around the building.

Areum sighs. How was she meant to do this? she had only known these people for a couple minutes and she already had to decide whether they could debut or not. She turned around to find a young boy in a coral shirt, who looks really upset "you okay?" she questions, touching his arm

"mhm" he nods "just i don't know who i'm gonna vote" he shrugs, shifting from one foot to the other

"neither do i" she smiles,  "what's your name, you seem really young?"

"i'm Ni-Ki" He tells her "and i'm 14"

"oh my god you're like a baby" she laughs "Wait i remember! Your performance was so good"

"thank you" Ni-Ki smiled "yours was too! Your rapping was amazing! i wish i could rap like you"

"I think you'll need to grow up a bit" she said, smiling at him like he was her little brother

"Ni-Ki?" Another boy smiles, interrupting their conversation

"oh yeah" Ni-ki says "Areum this is Ta-ki my friend"

"hi Ta-ki" Areum waves "i'm going to leave you guys alone. good luck though" she smiles, stepping backwards and walking into the building, following the rest of the boys. They walk around the house, all of it extremely modern and equally shocking. After they've finished walking around they all sit on the white sofa. Areum sits beside Geonu and Jay since they are the two of the three people she's had conversations with, grabbing the orange pillow and putting it on her lap

"Who would want to go to the ground after seeing all this?" Jay questions, looking at the different people

"How can we eliminate anyone?" A boy called Daniel says

"i hate this" Taki groans, leaning against the back of the sofa

"Should we vote without thinking?" Jungwon asks

"No, that isn't fair" Areum adds, all the boys looking at her "no offence Jungwon but why would we risk sending some really good dancers or singers away just because we didn't want to chose" She tells them group

"yeah, i agree with Areum" Sunghoon nods, flashing her a full smile which she returns

"We're becoming a unit" Someone comments
