(midpoint evaluations......3 days before the 4th test)

"Who has part 6?" One of the producers asks, Areum putting her hand up and smiling

"Good choice" He nods, writing something down on his piece of paper, Sunghoon sending Areum a bright smile. They start talking about part 5 and 6, saying how they are the hardest parts, Areum turning to Jungwon, taking his hand and rubbing his knuckles, trying to make him feel less nervous. Areum could always tell when people were nervous, she found it easy to read people.

They start performing. Areum keeps her voice stable, projecting it across the room, making sure her dance moves are sharp and her facial expressions stand out. While she was dancing she could feel the nervous energy radiating off of him

Come on, Junnie....you have to do well

"..Areum..." Zico sighs "I don't understand how you do.......so well in each evaluation and test." He smiles, shaking his head and placing the clip board on his lap "You always manage to stand out, snatching the attention of the viewer which is very important as an idol. You're facial expressions are on point and your dancing is just amazing, so good job and keep up the good work" He finishes, looking back down at the clip board

"Thank you so much" She smiles while bowing

All of the i-landers sit around in a circle, discussing what to do about Jungwon's part. Areum sits beside Jake, leaning her head on his shoulder and looking at the floor, not wanting to participate in the conversation

"Ari, what do you think?" Geonu asks, looking at the distracted girl

"Well my friend, i think we should just leave Jungwon where he is" She sighs "He can practice and work on it to make it better and i know he will because that's what he does, he doesn't just give up but i mean i'll be fine with whatever he wants to do" She smiles, looking at the younger boy

"Thanks, Ari" He mutters

"No problem, sweetie" she smiles, squeezing his hand and laughing at the blush that creeps onto his face. Areum loved calling Jungwon 'sweetie' in fact she loved calling all the boys 'sweetie' as it made them blush and start stuttering. At the end Jungwon said he'd keep talking with Heeseung about it but he would keep practicing.

"Areum.." Geonu says, walking up to the girl who was practicing, watching herself in the mirror

"Yeah" she mutters, continuing the dance

"How do you always do so well?" He asks

"I've been a trainee for five years. I've been practicing every day for the past..." She mutters, adding the days in her head "1825 days, none stop. So now i have this chance i'm going to take it" she tells the boy

"Did you just do that maths in your head?" He mutters, his mouth open

"mhm" she nods, a small smile on her lips

"Wow you're smart" He sighs, crossing his arms

"thanks" She chuckles

"So you were popular and smart in school" He mumbles

"Yeah i guess" She shrugs, looking at him in the mirror "what?" she questions, looking at the boys expression

"Just...you don't have to answer this but....did you really have a girlfriend?"
