Chapter 44 - My life

Neymar POV

I followed her as she walked to her room,
grabbing a small suitcase from under her bed.

"Stay here,"
She said walking away coming back with a black jacket and pants telling me to put it on.
Without hesitation I stripped down to my underwear, putting on the clothes she gave to me,
A smirk came upon my face when I saw her glancing over at me a few times.

"I'm ready."
I said looking at her as she awkwardly looked at me with a little smile on her face.

"Let go."
She said handing me the suitcase leading the way as we made our way down the stairs out the front door,
Towards a black SUV that was waiting outside the house,
Upon entering the vehicle I realized the driver was one of her brothers bodyguard.

"So what happened?"
She asked looking at the driver.

"I'm sorry boss lady but I can't tell you."
He said glancing over to me, probably not wanting to talk with me being there.

"I demand it."
She said looking at him sternly, I was taken aback by this side off her, it was kind off hot actually.

"We were ambushed during the meeting,
"Someone called the cops on us."
"we were outnumbered but we managed to escape."
"Lino was grazed his arm with a bullet and we lost two men in the attack."
He said taking a deep breath.

"Still want to know more about my life?"
She said turning to look at me.

"I told you before nothing will change the way I feel about you."
I said holding her hand.

"So want exactly do your brother do?"
I asked nervously making her laugh a little.

"All I got to say is the Mafia is real."
She said looking at me raising her eyebrows.

"We're here."
the driver said pulling up to a warehouse.

"Last chance to change your mind, It's not to late."
"I can have the driver take you back to the house,"
"you can forget about everything and head back to Paris with Francesca and have a normal life."
"Because nothing about me or my family is normal, we are not good people,"
"we have done bad things things that is unimaginable to you."
She said looking directly into my eyes.

"I'm not repeating myself again Bella."
I said opening the car door getting out holding the door for her.
She got out looking at me taking a deep breath placing her hand on my face making my heart race.

"I just don't want you to get hurt because off me."
She said looking into my eyes.

"Your brother is bleeding boss lady."
The guy said interrupting us.

"Let's go."
She said leading the way.

"What is he doing here?"
Lino asked looking at me confused.

"Don't worry about that."
Bella said walking to him removing the blood soaked cloth looking at his wound.

"Wait a minute wasn't my sister your doctor during the World Cup?"
"Did you two hook up or something?"
Lino asked looking at me as he took out his gun wiping blood off it.

"Stop it Lino."
Bella said rolling her eyes while trowing some alcohol on his wound making him flinch.

"I'm just trying to understand this because you are dating my sisters best friend."
Lino said looking at me.

"How about you tell me what happened tonight
How on earth did you get shot."
Bella said looking at Lino.

"I'm not saying shit in-front off him!"
Lino said looking at me.

"Well find someone else to stitch your wound."
Bella said getting up.

"Fine,"
"We were ambushed by the cops."
"I was supposed to do a business deal with some rich guy from Qatar."
"He wanted to purchase a shit load off guns,"
"I was supposed to meet with him to do the cash exchange and he outed me to the cops almost getting me arrested."

"Qatar you say?"
Bella asked.

"What's his name?"

"Alex or something,"
Lino said making Bella look at me.

"Alex khater?"

"Yes that's him,"
"You know him?"
Lino asked looking at her.

"No."
She said grabbing the needle and thread taking a seat proceeding to stitch Lino's wound.
I looked at her confused wondering why she said she has no idea who Alex was.
Was she trying to protect Alex or something?

"You are lying my dear sister,"
Neymar's face says something different.
Do you know who Alex is Neymar?
Lino said looking at me.

"That's not my business."
I said looking at

"You are lying Neymar, I'm really good at telling if someone is lying."
Lino said.

"I'm not lying, it's really non off my business."
I said looking at Bella wondering why she would try to protect Alex after he nearly go her brother killed by the police.

"Chris can you do some digging into this Alex Khater."
"I want to know everything about him, where he works if he's married or has a girlfriend, Probably well kidnap her as revenge for what he did tonight."
Lino said, making Bella look at him with a scared look on her face.
