Chapter 2 - job.

Next day.

Morning Bella
Sophie the receptionist greeted me as I made my way into the hospital, to my surprise the hospital wasn't that busy this morning,
Thank god because I was a bit worn out after the night I had, running trough hotel corridor in heals,
Try to escape my ex.
Thank god for whoever that guy was that stopped Alex.
Because if Alex had made it to the elevator, we would sure had a fight.
And even though I may project a strong personality,
Alex always gets the upper hand in our fights,
he has a terrible temper that scares me.
He has never physically hurt me,
But he is a very unpredictable person when he's angry.

"Miss Bella, Jon's here to see you."
Sophie said coming into my office.

"Jon?"
I asked making sure I herd correctly.

"Yes Jon your mothers boyfriend,"
Sophie said with an awkward smile on her face.
Because Jon was already standing next to her.

"Good morning Bella."
He said walking in taking a seat opposite me.

"What brings you here Jon?"
I asked looking at him confused, because he had never once visited me since I opened this hospital.

"I was looking for you last night but Emily said you left early."
He said scratching the back of his head, because him and I had never really had a real conversation since he started dating my mom,
I could see how nervous he was talking to me.

"I have a job proposal for you."
He said handing me some files.

"I was wondering if your company will be the medical representatives for the players in the Brazil football team.
He said to me smiling.

"I don't understand don't each team have their own doctor?"
I asked.

"The doctor for the Brazil team tested positive for Covid right before the flight to Qatar."
"They have no one to replace him,"
"I understand you have an Osteopathic degree."
" and you and your team are the best in Qatar."

"I mentioned you to the manager of the Brazil team.
"And they really desperately need you help."
"So please Bella will you take the job."
He asked with pleading eyes.

"Your mom said your dad is a huge Brazil fan,"
Jon said trying to use my father like a chest piece to get me to agree.

"Find I'll do it."
I said making him clap with happiness.

"I'll need a medical copy of all the players."
I said looking at Jons who was still smiling like an idiot.

"I will organize a meeting for you with the team manager at the Aluxor Hotel tonight."
"He will give you all the information you needed on the players."
Jon said getting up.

"Did you say the Aluxor Hotel?"
"Is the Brazil team staying at Alex family's Hotel?"
I asked Jon with a worried expression on my face.

"Yes the entire team were actually at your moms party last night,"
"to bad you left early, you would of gotten to meet them."
"We'll thank you for doing this Bella I really appreciate it,"
"I will see you soon."
Jon said before walking out my office.

If I only knew the team was staying at Alex family's Hotel, I would off never took the job, the last thing I want is to run into Alex again.
Well I guess I have to just man up and deal with it.

I smiled walking towards the staff room to tell them the news, some of the male doctors are going to be very happy about the job.
But of course I can't take them all with me,
I'm just going to have to take 6 off them for the most, at least who is more qualified in
Osteopathic Medicine.
