Being back in Wakanda was like a relief for Ada.
"Princess, Ada," a scientist spoke to Shuri and Ada, "it is good to have you back. The city has been on edge since you left."
"Fortify the sonic barriers for all waterways," Shuri said, immediately going back to her work. Ada turned around and saw Aneka, smiling contently at the older woman.
"Princess," Aneka got the attention of Shuri. "Aneka," Shuri hugged her.
"Thank the ancestors. Hmm? I just wanted to return these," she gave the spears back.
"No," Shuri declined. "Keep them. Might need them soon."
"Did you get that from down there?" Aneka asked Shuri, eyeing the bracelet on her wrist. "Is it true you saw an underwater empire?"
"Yes," she nodded. "It is beautiful. But these people are dangerous, Aneka."
The three kept carrying the conversation along before the alarms across the palace started blaring.
"GRIOT, activate the Sunbird," she immediately told her AI.
"Shuri, Ada, where are you?" Ramonda asked.
"Making our way to the city right now," Shuri responded for the two. "Stand down! That is an order!"
"Mother, we are with Aneka. We can provide air support." "Aneka, do not let them leave the lab."
Ada took Shuri's hand, disappointment and concern spread across her face. "You just hung up on the Queen." "I just hung up on my mom. There's a difference. Come. Let's go!"
They immediately got onto the Sunbird, flying across Wakanda to find people who needed help. Ada knew it was Namor and his people, but it didn't make it any less terrifying. They watched as the Talokan grabbed Wakandans and dragged them into the water.
Shuri grabbed a boat and got everyone in there to safe ground. They went over to where Namor was, stopping right in front of him. He looked at Shuri before she tried shooting at him. He managed to dodge all the bullets, going into the water.
