Levi Berkshire:
As I wake up this morning I feel Evangelina trying to wiggle out of my hold, which only makes me hold her tighter,
"5 more minutes" I groan laying my head on her shoulder
"Levi! It's 9:30, I need to get up and get ready, the school is on the other side of the city. And you've had 3 '5 more minutes' get up!" She hisses in my ear
I grumble some more as she stands up. The shirt of mine she's wearing slightly hitches up as she bends over giving me a clear view of her heart-shaped ass. She turns around and nods at me before walking to her room. I stand up and change into black pants and throw on a grey sweater. I exit my room walking to the kitchen to see Evangelina talking to Gloria.
"Dear, just let me make you breakfast, please?" Gloria begs
"Ria, I told you I'm not hungry, I'll eat when we get back" Yellow laughs, turning to me
"Ready?" I ask, glancing over her body seeing she's in a brown long sleeved turtleneck and ripped blue jeans, her hair is slightly curled and half of it is pinned back with a clip.
She nods and follows me to the elevator, I've noticed she's not as scared of it anymore, which is good.
Once we exit the elevator we walk out to the garage, and to the Corvette. I watch as he eyes light up when she sees it, and it gives me a touch of pride for whatever reason.
"What time do we finish today?" I ask putting the car into drive
"I finish at 1:30" she says with a smile
"We can pick the car up after and drive to the new house, I'll let you drive Jane."
"Who's Jane?" She asks furrowing her brows
"The Corvette" I clarify. She just absentmindedly nods and looks out the window.
We pull up to West Minster and stop out front. She immediately grabs her bag and hops out of the car, beginning to walk towards the entrance.
We reach a closed door of a classroom.
"Okay. 3 rules." She starts staring deep into my eyes "1, no swearing 2, no complaining 3, only help when asked, it's super easy to get in the way" she says
"Aye aye, captain" I joke, she doesn't find it funny and sends me a death glare before knocking on the door.
Immediately, the door is thrown open by a short blonde lady looking absolutely exhausted
"Oh! Evangelina, thank goodness you're here, I'm gonna go, I'll be back at 1:30, their being extremely naughty today, so be ready" she pats Evangelina's shoulder before brushing past us
When we walk in I'm met by an extremely bright room and loud kids.
"Hey guys!" Yellow shouts excitedly walking in
"Miss Miller!!" Most all of them shout running up to her.
I'm standing off to the side watching the interaction. They all continue talking to her while she nods and laughs along with them, looking around the classroom I realize this is a grade 3 classroom.
"Alright guys, let's take a seat okay?" Lina says gesturing to their seats.
They all quickly run off and sit down, before she stands up, crosses her arms and taps her foot on the ground in a mock anger
"In your assigned seats, please" she laughs stepping around to the desk as some kids quickly switch spots
I'm still standing by the door watching this play out when she realizes I'm still here.
"Oh right! Guys this is my friends, Mr. Berkshire" she says grasping my upper arm pulling me to the front of the class
Her friend? I'm her goddamn husband. I hate this, I don't like having that many people staring at me, I'd don't care how old they are. Awkwardly waving I begin to walk back over to my spot again when I hear whispers.
