"BASIL, do you want to help me tell them the truth?" I ask him.
He considers the offer for a minute, eventually saying, "You know I'm going to have a panic attack or something... you know I'm going to start crying... you know something is going to go wrong and it'll be my fault."
I shake my head. "Nothing is going to go wrong, and if something does go wrong, I'm just as much at fault as you. You're strong. I won't force you to do this, but I think you need to... at least be there. BASIL, please? I've done everything with you, why not this?"
"If you did everything with me, then why did you hide in your room for FOUR FUCKING YEARS STRAIGHT?"
He's got a point.
"I'm sorry." I tell him.
"I know." He responds. "I shouldn't have shouted at you like that."
I hug him. "It's okay. I more than deserve it."
He responds, "No. You don't deserve bad stuff to happen to you just because you made some mistakes. I get it, SUNNY, I really do."
"Thank you."
"I'll go with you." He says.
"Since you kind of have to... stay here for the time being, do you want me to call them and bring them here?" I ask.
He nods his head, and I call our friends.
