Dream carefully brought george back towards his room.. he didn't know how he could fix his anger out burst towards George.

He turned over.. seeing the confused look on George's face.

Dreams gaze sorrowed.. feeling extremely guilty.
"You can stay in here as long as you'd like." He let George's hand go.
"Okay..? Sleep here.. read here- whatever you need."

George quickly grew happy.. walking further into the room.
"Are you sure..?" He looked back.

"Mhm.." Dream sighed.. but as he was about to leave- George grabbed his hand.
"Hm..?" He looked back.

"Do you want to read together..?" George softly spoke.. tilting his head to the side.
"Only- if you want.." he looked down..

Dream blinked.. but softly smiled.
".. I'll just need to grab a book." He nodded his head.
"Okay?"

George quickly smiled.. gasping.
"Really?!" He looked shocked.

Dream nodded again.. grabbing the book that George got him from the bag.
"Where do you want to read..?" He looked around.. trying his best to make up for what he did.

"We could read on the bed." George made his way over.. picking up the book he was reading previously.
"But it's up too you." He sat down on the bed

"Mm.. I don't mind." Dream flew over George.. settling on the empty space behind him.
"I want to read the book you got me." He leaned against the window.

George jumped as Dream sat behind him..
"I'm still on the first book." He held up the book faintly.

"Oh? Then I can just spoil it for you." Dream softly chuckled, nodding his head.
"The entire story actually." He shrugged.

"DO NOT!" George snapped, turning his head around.
"You are not spoiling it for me!" He huffed.... He didn't entirely trust Dream quite yet.

"But I can." Dream smirked under his mask.
"And I should." He nodded his head.

George snatched the book out of dreams hand.
"Then I'm taking away your book." He huffed.

"Hey!" Dream tried reaching for it back.
"Give that back!" He laughed.. trying to reach for it.
"I'm trying to read that."

"Not until you promise no spoilers!" George scrunched his nose.
"I wanna find out myself." He huffed again.

"Yes yes.. I promise." Dream nodded his head softly.. carefully taking the book from George.
"Why are you even reading these books..?" He cocked a brow under his mask.

"Cause... I like them.." George frowned.. holding his book tightly.
"I used to read when I was a kid.. but my family said I shouldn't and took the books away." He looked down at the cover.
"And I think it's nice seeing people happy... even if it's fiction.."

Dream felt calm around George.. he was actually able to talk about his stories and read in peace.
"You mean- people being in relationships and you're not?"

George was about to speak but thought for a few moments.
"Is that why you read these kinds of stories!!" He turned to face Dream.

Dreams face quickly burned with embarrassment under his mask.
"I- well.." he anxiously laughed, rubbing the back of his head.

"It is!" George turned around.. sitting in front of Dream.
"You want to find someone!" His tail swayed back and forth.
"That's why you read!"

Dream let out a small sigh.
"It's.. complicated-" he scrunched his nose.. looking away.
"I guess-"
