The date night

{On the benches in the schoolyard}

Y/n smiled at Jungwon's request and patted her lap, inviting him to rest his head on it. He gladly complied, resting his head on her lap and closing his eyes. Sunghoon and Y/n's friends chatted amongst themselves, occasionally glancing over at the couple.

As Jungwon lay there, he felt a sense of comfort and security being so close to Y/n. He felt her gentle fingers run through his hair, and he couldn't help but smile. He knew that he was lucky to have someone like her in his life.

After a while, Y/n leaned down and whispered in his ear, "Hey, do you want to go on a date this weekend?"

Jungwon's eyes shot open, surprised at the sudden proposal. He quickly sat up and looked at her, his face turning red with excitement. "Y-yeah, that sounds great! Where do you want to go?"

Y/n smiled at his enthusiasm, "I was thinking of going to the amusement park. I heard they have a new rollercoaster that's really cool."

Jungwon's eyes widened with excitement, "Yes, that sounds amazing! I can't wait!"

As they talked more about their upcoming date, Sunghoon and Y/n's friends smiled at the couple's happiness. They were glad to see Jungwon and Y/n together and enjoying each other's company.

The rest of the lunch break flew by quickly, and soon, they were back in class. Jungwon couldn't help but smile throughout the rest of the day, thinking about his upcoming date with Y/n.

{Time skip, at the date}

Y/n and Jungwon were sitting in a fancy restaurant, enjoying their date night. Y/n ordered some delicious food and a bottle of red wine to share. Jungwon was a little hesitant to drink since he had never tried alcohol before, but he didn't want to disappoint Y/n. He took a sip of the wine, and it tasted sweet and fruity.

As the night went on, Jungwon continued to drink more and more wine. His face turned red, and he started to giggle uncontrollably. Y/n was a little worried, but she didn't want to ruin their date.

Suddenly, Jungwon stood up on the chair and started singing loudly. Everyone in the restaurant turned to look at them, but Jungwon didn't seem to care. Y/n tried to calm him down, but he was too drunk to listen.

"I love you, Y/n!" Jungwon shouted, causing the other diners to look at them even more.

Y/n blushed, feeling embarrassed, but also a little touched by his words. She tried to convince Jungwon to sit down, but he wouldn't listen. Eventually, the restaurant staff came over and asked them to leave.

Y/n helped Jungwon to his feet, and they stumbled out of the restaurant, both a little embarrassed by what had just happened. They walked back to Y/n's house, with Jungwon leaning heavily on her for support.

Once they were inside, Y/n put Jungwon to bed and tucked him in. She sat by his side, watching him sleep, and wondered what had gotten into him. She knew he was a shy boy, but she never expected him to act like this.

{The next morning}

Jungwon groaned and rubbed his head, the pounding headache making it hard for him to focus. He looked around the room and saw Y/n sleeping peacefully beside him. Jungwon's heart fluttered as he remembered the events of last night. They had gone on a date, and he had gotten drunk on red wine, something he had never done before.

He sat up slowly, trying not to disturb Y/n. As he did, she stirred, and he saw her eyes flicker open.

"Good morning," she said, stretching.

Jungwon winced at the sound of her voice, the pain in his head intensifying.

"I'm sorry," he said, rubbing his temples. "I don't remember much from last night. Did I do anything stupid?"

Y/n raised an eyebrow and gave him a mischievous smile.

"Oh, you don't remember?" she said, pretending to be angry. "You were flirting with the waitress and spilled red wine all over my new dress. I can't believe you!"

Jungwon's heart sank as he realized the severity of his actions.

"I'm so sorry," he said, his voice filled with regret. "I didn't mean to hurt you or embarrass you. Please forgive me."

Y/n couldn't keep up the prank any longer and burst out laughing.

"I'm just messing with you," she said, pulling him into a hug. "You didn't do anything like that. You were just a little drunk and kept telling me how much you loved me."

Jungwon blushed at the thought of confessing his love to Y/n while drunk.

"I do love you," he said, looking into her eyes. "Even when I'm not drunk."

Y/n smiled and kissed him gently on the lips.

"I love you too, you silly boy," she said, hugging him tightly. "Now, let's get you some coffee to help with that hangover."

{In the kitchen}

Y/n chuckled softly as Jungwon whimpered from the headache, but she couldn't help feeling a little guilty for pranking him earlier. She turned around to face him and ran her hand through his hair, soothingly.

"I'm sorry for being mad at you earlier, Jungwon. I was just messing with you," Y/n said with a gentle smile.

Jungwon looked up at her with a soft smile, "It's okay, Y/n. I deserved it for my behavior last night."

Y/n nodded, "Just be careful with alcohol next time, okay? I don't want to see you like this again."

Jungwon nodded, "I will, I promise."

They both fell into a comfortable silence as Y/n continued to cook breakfast. After a few minutes, Y/n placed a plate of eggs, toast, and bacon in front of Jungwon. He took a bite and let out a contented sigh.

"This is delicious, Y/n. Thank you," Jungwon said with a smile.

Y/n smiled back, "I'm glad you like it. You know, I could get used to making breakfast for you every morning."

Jungwon blushed at her words, "Really?"

Y/n nodded, "Yeah, really. I like taking care of you, Jungwon."

Jungwon's heart swelled with warmth at her words, "I like it too, Y/n. You're the best."

Y/n leaned in and gave him a soft kiss on the lips, "I know, I am."

Jungwon couldn't help but laugh at her playful arrogance as they continued their breakfast together, feeling grateful for each other's company.
