Jungwon sat nervously in his seat,
fidgeting with his pencil and avoiding
eye contact with the other students in
the classroom. He had always been a
shy boy, struggling to make friends
and feeling out of place in social
situations. But today was different - he had a new friend, Sunghoon.

Sunghoon was the complete opposite
of Jungwon. He was outgoing and
friendly, always making people laugh
and feel at ease. Jungwon was
grateful to have met him and felt more comfortable in his presence than he had with anyone else before.

As they sat together in class, Jungwon
noticed that Y/n was staring at him
with a scowl on her face. She had
always been mean to him, teasing him
about his quiet demeanor and lack of
friends. But today, she seemed
particularly angry.

'What's her problem?" Sunghoon
whispered, noticing Y/n's glare.

Jungwon shrugged, trying not to let
her negative energy affect him. But as the day went on, Y/n's anger seemed to escalate. She would make snide comments whenever Jungwon and Sunghoon talked or laughed together, and she even went so far as to try and isolate Jungwon from his new friend.

Jungwon felt himself getting more
and more anxious as the day went on
He didn't want to lose his new friend,
but he also didn't want to be the
target of Y/n's bullying. As the bell
rang for the end of the day, Jungwon
gathered his things and headed
towards the door, hoping to make a
quick exit.

But Y/n wasn't finished yet. As he
passed her desk, she reached out and
grabbed his arm, pulling him back.

"What's your problem, Y/n?"
Sunghoon spoke up, standing up for
his friend.

"My problem is with you, Sunghoon,"
Y/n sneered. "You're taking away my
favorite target. Jungwon's too shy to
defend himself, and now that he's got
a friend, he thinks he's invincible."

Jungwon felt a lump form in his throat. He didn't want to cause any trouble, but he also didn't want to lose
Sunghoon's friendship. He looked up
at his new friend, silently pleading for
him to stay.

"Don't listen to her, Jungwon,"
Sunghoon said, putting a reassuring
hand on his shoulder. "You don't have
to be alone anymore. You've got me."

With those words, Y/n stormed out of
the classroom, defeated. Jungwon felt
a wave of relief wash over him,
grateful for Sunghoon's support.
Maybe, just maybe, he could start to
feel like he belonged after all.

{Time skip, in the hallway}

Jungwon sat alone in the hallway,
nervously twiddling his thumbs. He
had always been a shy boy, but lately
he had been trying to break out of his
shell. His new friend Sunghoon had
been helping him with that, but
unfortunately, Sunghoon had gone to
the restroom, leaving Jungwon alone.

As he sat there, lost in his thoughts
he suddenly heard a voice that made
him jump. It was Y/n, the mean girl
who had always made fun of him.

"What are you doing all alone,
Jungwon?" Y/n asked, a cruel smirk on her face. "Did Sunghoon finally ditch you?"

Jungwon looked down at his feet, not
sure how to respond. He knew that
Y/n was still angry with him for making a new friend, and he didn't want to make things worse.

"I-I'm just waiting for Sunghoon," he
stammered.

Y/n rolled her eyes. "You know, you're
so pathetic, Jungwon. No one wants
to be friends with someone like you."

Jungwon's heart sank as Y/n's words
cut deep. He knew that he wasn't the
most outgoing person, but he didn't
think he was that bad.

"Just leave me alone, Y/n," he
whispered, his voice barely above a
whisper.

But Y/n didn't listen. Instead, she
continued to taunt him, making him
feel smaller and smaller with each
passing moment. Jungwon felt like he
was trapped, unable to escape the
cruel words of the mean girl.

Just as he was about to break down in
tears, Sunghoon returned from the
restroom. He saw Y/n tormenting
Jungwon and immediately stepped in,
telling her to leave him alone.

Y/n huffed and walked away, but the
damage had already been done.
Jungwon sat there, feeling defeated
and humiliated. He knew that he had a lot of work to do if he wanted to be
more confident and stand up to bullies like Y/n.

Jungwon sat in the hallway, his head
bowed and his hands fidgeting
nervously in his lap. He could feel the
stares of his fellow classmates
burning into his back, and it made his
stomach churn with anxiety.

Beside him sat his friend Sunghoon
who had stayed by his side after Y/n
nad bullied him in front of everyone
Sunghoon had always been a loyal
friend, and Jungwon was grateful for
his support.

Jungwon couldn't help but feel
ashamed of himself for letting Y/n's
cruel words get to him. He knew he
was a shy and quiet person, and
sometimes that made him an easy
target for bullies like her. But that didn't make it okay for her to treat him that way.

As he sat there, lost in thought, he
heard a soft voice beside him. It was
Sunghoon, and he was offering words
of encouragement.

"Don't let her get to you, Jungwon," he
said softly. "You're stronger than you
think, and you don't deserve to be
treated that way."

Jungwon nodded, feeling a small
glimmer of hope in his heart. Maybe
Sunghoon was right. Maybe he was
stronger than he gave himself credit
for.

As the minutes ticked by, the hallway
slowly emptied out, and the two boys
were left alone. Jungwon looked up at
Sunghoon, his eyes shining with
gratitude.

"Thank you for being my friend," he
said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Sunghoon smiled at him, his eyes
warm and kind.

"Always, Jungwon," he replied. "You're
not alone in this."

With those words, Jungwon felt a
weight lifted off his shoulders. He
knew that he still had a long road
ahead of him, but with Sunghoon by
his side, he felt a little bit stronger.
And for now, that was enough.
