This story does include some heavy themes like domestic abuse, eating disorders, severe anxiety and alcohol misuse. If any of these themes upset you I would advise not to read any further as they are prominent throughout the story.
DISCLAIMER- This is a fun book not a good book, it's not perfect but it will be enjoyable. This a set in a book world where anything can happen and so no, it's not exactly realistic.
