Y/N L/N had always dreamed of working at the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) of the FBI. She had spent years studying criminology and psychology, honing her skills and knowledge to prepare for the day she would finally apply for a job at the prestigious unit. And that day had finally arrived.

As she walked into the BAU headquarters on her first day of work, Y/N felt a mix of nerves and excitement. She had heard so much about the BAU and the brilliant minds that worked there, and now she was one of them.

After a quick tour of the office, Y/N was introduced to her new colleagues. One of them stood out to her immediately: a young man with curly hair and piercing blue eyes. She recognized him as Spencer Reid, the genius FBI agent and one of the brightest minds in the BAU.

Y/N couldn't help but feel a little intimidated by Spencer's intelligence and reputation, but she was determined to make a good impression.

As the day went on, Y/N found herself gravitating towards Spencer. They bonded over their shared love of Doctor Who and their appreciation for funny mathematical jokes. They laughed and joked together, and Y/N couldn't believe how easy it was to talk to him.

Over the next few weeks, Y/N and Spencer spent more and more time together, both at work and outside of it. They went on coffee runs together, worked on cases side by side, and even went to see a Doctor Who convention together.

Y/N knew that she was starting to develop feelings for Spencer, but she wasn't sure if he felt the same way. She was too afraid to ask, too worried about jeopardizing their friendship and their working relationship.

One day, Y/N was assigned to work with Spencer on a particularly difficult case. They were tasked with going undercover as a married couple to investigate a string of murders that had taken place in a small town in the Midwest.

Y/N was nervous about going undercover with Spencer, especially given her growing feelings for him. But she was determined to be professional and focused, and to do whatever it took to solve the case.

As they arrived in the small town, Y/N and Spencer settled into their new identities as a married couple. They pretended to be newlyweds on their honeymoon, staying in a quaint bed and breakfast and exploring the town together.

At first, everything seemed to be going smoothly. Y/N and Spencer worked together seamlessly, using their skills and knowledge to piece together the clues and track down the killer.

But as the days went on, Y/N found herself struggling to maintain her professional facade around Spencer. They were spending so much time together, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore her feelings for him.

One night, after a long day of work, Y/N and Spencer sat outside on the porch of their bed and breakfast, watching the stars. Y/N couldn't take it anymore. She had to tell Spencer how she felt.

"Spencer," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "I know this might be awkward, given that we're supposed to be undercover as a married couple, but...I have to tell you something."

Spencer turned to her, his eyes searching hers. "What is it, Y/N?"

"I...I think I'm falling in love with you," she said, her heart racing.

Spencer's expression softened, and he reached out to take her hand. "Y/N, I...I feel the same way. I've been trying to tell you for weeks, but I didn't want to jeopardize our working relationship."

Y/N felt a wave of relief wash over her. She leaned in and kissed Spencer, and they both knew that they had finally found what they had been looking for.

The next few days were a blur.

As Y/N and Spencer continued to work on the case, they couldn't help but feel more connected than ever before. They shared knowing glances and subtle touches, always aware of each other's presence.

Despite the growing closeness between them, they still had a job to do. The case was far from over, and they needed to find the killer before he struck again.

Their investigation led them to a suspect, a man with a history of violence and a clear motive for the murders. Y/N and Spencer worked tirelessly to gather evidence and build a case against him.

Finally, they had enough to make an arrest. They apprehended the suspect and brought him back to the BAU headquarters for interrogation.

As they sat in the interrogation room, Y/N and Spencer couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. They had worked together to solve the case, and they had done it as a team.

After the case was closed, Y/N and Spencer returned to their normal routine at the BAU. But things were different now. They were no longer just friends and colleagues; they were a couple.

Their relationship blossomed, and they spent every spare moment together. They explored the city, went on hikes, and even took a trip to Paris together.

But their happiness was short-lived. Another case came up, and this time, Y/N and Spencer were assigned to work together again.

The case was unlike any they had ever seen before. The killer was highly intelligent and seemingly impossible to catch. Y/N and Spencer worked tirelessly, pouring over evidence and interviewing witnesses.

As they worked, they couldn't help but feel the weight of the case bearing down on them. They were running out of time, and they knew that failure was not an option.

Finally, they caught a break. They discovered a piece of evidence that led them to the killer's lair. They rushed to the location, their guns drawn and their hearts pounding.

As they entered the lair, they were met with a hail of gunfire. Y/N and Spencer dove for cover, returning fire as they tried to take down the killer.

In the end, they succeeded. The killer was apprehended, and Y/N and Spencer emerged from the lair unscathed.

As they stood there, adrenaline still pumping through their veins, Y/N realized just how much she loved Spencer. She couldn't imagine going through that experience with anyone else.

Later that night, as they sat in Spencer's apartment, Y/N knew that she had to ask him something. "Spencer," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "I know we've only been dating for seven months, but...I was wondering...what would you think about us moving in together?"

Spencer looked at her, his eyes softening. "Y/N, I would love that," he said, smiling. "I can't imagine being without you now."

And so, they took the next step in their relationship. They moved in together, combining their lives and their love.

As they sat on the couch, watching Doctor Who and sharing mathematical jokes, Y/N knew that she had found her soulmate. And she knew that they were meant to be together, solving cases and saving lives as a team.
