sanayeon - dolled up

A/N: inspired by the sanayeon scene in the set me free mv, they're too cute. i meant to post this a couple days ago but i got so busy. also this piece of shit is rlly bad but im trying to post stuff regularly so uh

Nayeon stepped into her apartment closing the front door behind her. The room was dark and the air felt cool on her skin. Sana must have turned on the aircon.

Everything was still and quiet as Nayeon set her stuff down and turned on a dim lamp. It illuminated the room with a hazy glow.

It was empty.

Nayeon looked around the empty house. That was strange. Usually Sana was waiting for her to come home and practically pounced on her as soon as she opened the door.

But she was no where to be seen. Nayeon then heard some muffled sounds coming from their shared room.

It sounded like...crying?

Nayeon approached their room and opened the door to find the room there dark as well. There was a figure slumped in the middle of their bed, occasionally shaking and sniffling.

Nayeon's heart broke at the sight of Sana. Immediately the older girl rushed towards her girlfriend.

"Sana?" Nayeon lightly spoke and carefully pulled down the covers enough to see Sana's face.

Sana didn't respond and only looked down as soon as her worried girlfriend came into view. Nayeon pouted as she took in her lover.

Sana's face was tear stained and a little snot ran down from her nose. It looked like she had been crying for a while.

"Oh darling, what happened?" Nayeon cooed as she held Sana's face, lifting it up.

Seeing her girlfriend's face just made Sana tear up again. Her nose stung as her eyes began to water.

"No don't cry my love." Nayeon said as she gave Sana a loving kiss on her pouted lips. "It's okay i'm here."

Sana let out a few more sobs before throwing herself into Nayeon for a suffocating hug.

The two stayed like that for a while, Nayeon just rubbing and lightly scratching Sana for comfort.

Soon Sana was able to collect herself and only pulled away from Nayeon to tell her why she was crying.

She was supposed to meet with a couple of her best friend's friends at a club. Mina had introduced them to her but Sana didn't know them that well. Apparently the people she was supposed to meet were talking bad about her.

And I mean bad. They were exposed when they accidentally put the trash talk into their group chat with Sana instead of their individual texts.

Mina felt bad about it for getting Sana involved with them. She didn't mean for this to happen.

After Sana explained, she buried her face back into Nayeon's neck.

Nayeon frowned at the story. How could they be so cruel to someone they barely knew?

"It's okay baby, they don't know what they're missing." Nayeon said, lifting Sana's face into a soft kiss.

"I love you Nayeon." Sana sobbed out.

"I love you too baby." Nayeon planted a kiss on Sana's forehead.

After some silence of the two just enjoying each other's presence and warmth, Nayeon spoke. A plan took shape in her mind.
