The deafening sounds of the crowd drowned out Mina's thoughts for a moment. She watched the movement of the fans, mesmerized by the lights and sounds. It almost felt surreal to be here.

The members of Twice were all together in Japan performing, all nine of them present making one true team. This was their famous closing encore roulette of their last concert.

It was especially a meaningful moment for Mina, being in Japan and all. It made her feel some type of way she just couldn't figure out. Was it sadness or excitement? Maybe it was the feeling of being homesick?

The idea of it was all too familiar to Mina. But whatever it was, Sana and Momo could confirm that they related to it as well.

It made Mina so much more emotional, even more than just performing could accomplish. She was so full of love and happiness for her members and her fandom. It made her question how she got so lucky.

But maybe it also shaped a form of bittersweetness. All of her hard work and determination over the years led her to this fantastic moment. She couldn't help but to think about all her previous hardships and memories which added to this feeling.

She was pulled out of her head as Sana came over to her, wrapping an arm around Mina's waist while waving to their fans. Seeing the face of one of her closest friends just threatened the tears to spill out.

Mina often thought of Twice at night, crying herself to sleep for who knows what reason. The thought of her members always lingered in her head moments before she fell out of consciousness into a deep sleep.

Her bandmates were more like a family though. When she would think a little too hard about them it would itch inside a part of her that she couldn't describe and it made her antsy. It was a feeling of pure love. She liked her members too much, even more than she could describe. More than was humanly possible.

Mina possibly even liked a certain someone a little more though. Maybe even to the fact that it crossed the line of friendship.

The thought of it made her want to cry, considering she didn't know if the feeling would be returned or not. It made her desperate. The kind of desperate where things started to feel hopeless and pointless.

Be As One started to play as their next song. Of course it had to be this song. Mina knew that she would start crying soon, but she wanted to delay it for as long as possible.

Sana left her side to walk around, singing her opening lyrics. Mina was by herself now, a feeling of loneliness seeping in her. Deep down she knew better though. She had eight soulmates in which she could trust her life to. But right now the strange feeling took over.

It wasn't foreign but it was misplaced. Mina couldn't identify this feeling as any that she knew. It was scary and it made her heart ache.

Mina's part was about to start but she honestly didn't think she could do it steadily without any tears.

But she would have to.

She lifted the mic to her lips and sang. She executed it flawlessly, close to sounding exactly like the official recording. Though she predicted correctly. One tear flowed down her face, and then another and another.

And so by the time Mina finished her lines, her bottom lip trembled and snot started to trickle out from her nose. Mina scrunched her eyes closed and turned away from the audience, not wanting her fans to see her like this.

Unexpectedly, before she knew it a warm hand ghosted over her tear stained cheek. She opened her eyes to see Chaeyoung looking up at her, head slightly angled to see the eyes of the taller girl.
