It was night time. Weiss and Blake were still arguing with Yang and Ruby watching them

Weiss: I don't get why is this a problem

Blake: that is the problem!

Blake shouted, causing Weiss to get up from her bed

Weiss: You do realize that you're defending an organisation that hates humanity do you? The Faunus of the White Fang are pure evil

Blake: There is no such thing as pure evil. Why do you think they hate humanity so much? It's because of people like Cardin and you

Blake then gets off from her bed as well

Weiss: People like me?

Blake: You are discriminatory!

Weiss: I'm a victim!

Blake and Weiss then stare at each other while Ruby and Yang watched

Weiss: you know why I despise the white fang so much? Why I don't trust the Faunus very much?

Weiss then leans on the bookshelf by the window

Weiss: It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War as in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a target painted across its back for as long as I could remember and ever since I was a child, I've watched family, friends disappear. Board members executed, an entire train car of dust stolen and every day, my father would come home furious.

Weiss then bangs her hand on the bookshelf

Ruby: Weiss I-

Weiss: no! you want to know why I despise the White Fang? it's because they're a bunch of thieves, liars and murderers

Weiss knocks Ruby's hand away when the latter tried to comfort her and walks over to Blake

Blake: Maybe we're tired of being pushed around.

Weiss backs away slowly, surprised and Blake, realizing her mistake, covers her mouth

Blake: I-

*Timeskip

Blake arrived at a statue of an armored man with a sword and a hooded woman wielding an axe on an outcropping, staring at the Beowulf under the stone heroes in particular. She closed her eyes and removed the bow from her hair, revealing cat ears as she wiped a tear away. She was startled when she heard a voice above her

???: I knew you would look better without the bow

*Beacon Academy

Teams EVGL and FNBT were leaving Beacon to go back to their respective ports for the weekend

Evan: I'll see you son

Francis: you too sir

The two commanders of Azur Lane saluted each other before waking on their separate paths with their teams

Bismarck: another week has gone

New Jersey: Any plans for the weekend Francis honey?

Francis' New Jersey asked, making Francis think

Francis: I'll think of something when we arrive back home

New Jersey: Hai

???: Excuse me. Are you Team FNBT?

A voice stopped them and they turned to see a man with glasses and short black hair walking towards them

Francis: Who are you?

Ivan: I am Ivan. A wandering scientist. Say are you interested in lending some of your technology to my organisation?

Francis: What technology?

Ivan: Please don't lie. I know you have technology that allows humans to merge with ship parts

Francis: I don't know what you're talking about

Francis replied, trying to avoid the conversation

Ivan: I have solid evidence to prove that you have technology that allows humans to merge with ship parts

Ivan said before taking out what looks like a tablet and began playing videos of what Team FNBT had been doing on the seas

Team FNBT: !!!

Francis: How do you get these videos?

Ivan: I have my own methods. Now, will you give your technology to me?

Ivan asked while smirking

Francis: no we will not

Francis replied, making Ivan frown

Francis: I am forbidden under Azur Lane protocol to lend Azur Lane technology to third parties without permission

Ivan: You're on Remnant. That rule doesn't apply

Francis: still, I must follow Azur Lane protocol

Ivan: if you give your technology to me, I'll give you one million lien in exchange

Francis: no thanks. If you excuse me, I have somewhere to go urgently. bye

Team FNBT left ignoring, Ivan's offers

Ivan: damn.

Ivan then took out his scroll and began calling someone

Ivan: Hello? yes. Team FNBT declined

Evan: Who is Ivan calling? stay tuned
