The company had indeed started moving earlier than expected and Mando kept a close eye on the kid, his attention now undivided due to Rosalie leaving last night but as the company embarked on their trek towards the town, Rosalie's absence left a void in Mando's heart.

He couldn't help but worry about her well-being as they faced the unknown challenges that lay ahead. Yet, amidst the concern, a glimmer of confidence flickered within him.

Mando walked shoulder to shoulder with Cara and though his thoughts lingered on Rosalie's departure, he found solace in the strength she possessed, knowing that she was capable of devising a plan that could turn the tides in their favor, especially when she was injured from the events that occurred only hours ago.

His worry battled with his unwavering trust in her abilities.

In the midst of the walk, Mando's eyes darted to the empty space where Rosalie would be standing is she didn't leave. Though he yearned for her presence by his side, a quiet assurance settled within him, as if an invisible thread connected their hearts.

Granted he was still worried about her, but he had to try and trust that she knew what she was doing. But he didn't know what he would do if he was wrong, and she got hurt.

Cara had immediately questioned him when he returned without Rosalie, she wasn't happy when he found out he let her go ahead of them especially when he didn't know what she was planning. But he wouldn't let doubt overshadow his decision.

Already dealing with the bounty hunters and Karga revealing the truth about meeting them in the remote location, Mando was now walking towards the town with his hands cuffed in front of him.

He hadn't seen or heard from Rosalie yet and the closer he got to the town the more worried he got. He knew the kid was safe with Kuiil and he felt more at peace knowing that when he got to the ship he would have IG-11 to help protect him as much as he hated the thing, he trusted Kuiil.

As the group approached the town, the air thickened with tension and apprehension. Mando's eyes darted across the entrance and crumbling buildings he could see through the archway. They had a dangerous task ahead, infiltrating the enemy's stronghold while disguised as Karga's prisoner.

In front of the town there were two stormtroopers relaxing on speeder bikes, but they seemed to perk up when they spotted the three of them. The stormtroopers scrutinized their approach, their gazes scanning over Mando's bound hands. They stopped in front of them and one of them removed themselves from their speeder bike before moving towards Karga.

Behind his silver helmet, his eyes occasionally sought out Rosalie, wondering if her plan worked out and she managed to get into the town.

"Chain code." He didn't ask, he demanded.

Karga gestured to Mando, "A gi-"

"It's alright let them in, I've been expecting them." Someone said from behind the stormtrooper, cutting Karga off.

When the stormtrooper stepped out of the way, Mando's eyes landed on Rosalie with her hands on her hips, her head tilted to the side.

"Yes ma'am." The stormtrooper directed towards Rosalie.

Mando wasn't sure if he should be furious for the stormtrooper taking orders from Rosalie or relieved that she was okay and in one piece.

Mando caught Cara's eyes before Karga shoved him forward when Rosalie gestured for them to follow. His eyes turned to Rosalie ahead of them and his eyes travelled over the back of her. She had managed to clean up the gunk from last night's encounter and her rifle was missing from her back.
