This is so good!" I moaned as I took a bite of my barbeque chicken pasta from my fork. I decided to meet up with Aaron at his place. He lived in a calm house surrounded by greenery.

When I entered his house, I remember looking at the place, wide eyed, jaw dropped. His exact words, when he saw my expression, "Close your mouth before you choke on a fly".

"It is the same pasta you normally have" he replied as a matter of fact while flipping through the channels.

We were trying to find something good to watch. Between the both of us, he was the better cook. His hands had magic, and the pasta was his work of magic.

I roll my eyes and teasingly said, "I'm sure your future girlfriend will love your cooking."

He suddenly starts coughing out loud. I stare at him, raising my brows, in an unamused manner. "Your acting got better!" I joke.

Aaron starts flapping his hands and continues coughing, making me realize he isn't pretending. I drop my finished plate onto the coffee table in front of us and ran into the kitchen. Grabbing a glass I fill it till the middle. Scurrying back to the living room, I hand the glass over to my poor brother.

He takes large sips and finishes the whole glass of water, within seconds. Placing his head on his hands he occasionally let's out a cough now and then. I awkwardly pat his back.

"You okay?" I ask. He nods his head and lies back on the couch. Grabbing the remote, I settle on a music channel.

I open my mouth to question him what just happened, when he speaks before I can. " Not a word about what happened okay?" He said, his eyes silently begging me to let it slide.

I hum and get up. Grabbing our plates I head to the kitchen. I wash both of them under the running water and drop them into the sink. Wiping my hands on the towel, I hear Aaron call for me.

"So how's your work?" Aaron had a ghost smirk on his lips. I sigh and plop down next to him. "It's fine, but you know hectic and uggh" I rub my hands over my face and lie down, placing my feet on his lap.

"You in a relationship yet?" He bluntly asks. I furrow my brows and look at him. "No, not yet. Why the sudden interest?" I reply.

I remember in our secondary schooling and high school days, he never bothered to know who I was seeing. Normally when ever I would go on dates, or prom, he would ignore my date all the time.

"No nothing like that, just remember, you can only get married after you are thirty!" He jokes.

"Any girl caught your eye?"

Aaron on hearing my question, stares at me, before staring at the wall, with a small smile on his lips.

I sit back up squealing and sitting on my knees, facing him. He looks at me, weirdly. "Who is she? Why didn't you tell me before?" I yell.

"What? No! No one you idiot!" He hits the side of my head. "I'm single as single can be!" He said. I was sure I saw him blush slightly and think of someone.

"Sure whatever you say brother!" I tease.

After watching a movie or two, it was time for me to head back. I yawn and grab my bag.

I head towards the door. Aaron jogs out from his room, wearing a black shirt, with white pants. He walks me out and locks his door. I look at him curiously.

He unlocks his Merecedes car and motions me to get in. "You didn't have to drop me you know!" I sigh, snapping my belt into place. He ignites the car's engine into life.

"Can't let my little sister out this night, now can I?" He smiles. I roll my eyes, my lips turning upwards.

"Have you talked to mom recently?" Aaron asks me, giving me a side glance.

"No, last time I talked to her was like last week?" I scrunch my nose trying to remember.

"You should call dad you know. He has something important to tell you." He sings.

He stops at a red light. I change through the radio stations, trying to find good music. Music taste of Aaron's and mine were pretty similar.

He turns up the volume as 'Look at me now ' plays through the speakers.

The light turns green and we both start yelling the rap lyric. After the song gets over, we burst into laughter. "It's been so long since we did our duet." He chuckled.

I was mentally quite matured from a young age. Having an elder brother, who is three years elder has a huge impact for that. He used to blast songs and I used to listen them. We both weren't the innocent bunch when we were kids.

"Well I used to always win at karaoke!" I proudly said. Groaning, be shakes his head, "That game was shit anyway!" He muttered.

Talking to him was like walking down memory lane after so many years. Parking the car right on front of my building, we both get out. He walks me till my door. I knock waiting for Natalie to open. "It's been so long since we had a normal conversation yeah?" I ask.

"Yeah" he replies, putting his hands onto the pocket of his pants. "Remember when you cried cause your concert tickets got wet?" He started laughing at the memory.

I swat his arm. "That was my favourite band you ass!" I exclaim. The sound of locking clicks, and the door opens. Nat stands by the door, wearing pyjama pants and a red shirt.

"Come on in. I'll give you a tour of our place!" I enter and motion Aaron to come in. He hesitated but enters, closing the door behind him.

"Who are you?" Natalie asks curiously staring at him. Aaron places his hand on his chest, gasping in surprise, faking it. "How could you forget me Nate?" He pouted.

Since Natalie was a tomboy, Aaron always called her 'Nate'. She used to come over, just to meet my brother more than me, learning things to be more.. Boyish.

Suddenly it clicks her mind who he is, and she throws her arms around him. He laughs and wraps his arm around her.

"Group hug!" I tell and hug them both. We unwrap our arms from each other, while Natalie checks my brother out. "What happens to you Aaron ! It's like God was like, this guy has been ugly enough, let him look a little good looking now!" Natalie teased.

Aaron lifts his invisible collar and smirks, "Girls die for this body!" He points at himself. I roll my eyes at his usual cockiness.

I give him a small tour of our place. "It's nice, best thing, it has a good home feeling." He tells.

After a while he gets up. Giving a hug to Nat, he hugs me, awkwardly pats my head. I glare at him and we both say our goodbyes.

I close the door and Nat sits on the couch, head thrown back. I sit beside her letting my hand rest on her thigh. "So..?" I said.

"Holy shit! Your brother is a piece of art Emy! Like look at him! He's got more better looking!" She lets out a dreamy sigh. I laugh at her shaking my head in amusement.

Well another thing was that since a very young age, only, Natalie developed a crush on my brother. Yes very weird. I had found about it only like in junior year while playing truth and dare.

My brother, well he used to get quite a lot attention at school and college. He did date a lot of girls, that being one reason Nat didn't tell me about her crush on my brother.

But she moved on, during senior year prom, when she saw another dude. She realized that Aaron was like another elder brother.

"He's okay, I guess?" I said. She scoffs. I get up, telling her, I'm calling it a night. I head to my room and lie down on my bed. As soon as my eyes close, I feel my self drift off into sleep.

So I want Grant Gustin to play Aaron though he and Lily Collins look nothing alike, but let's just pretend for the sake of the book kay? xD
