My alarm goes off loudly, I groan and shut it off. What a weird dream I think to myself, I get up and get dressed for the day. After I brush my teeth I grab my backpack, put my shoes on and go downstairs.
For some reason there's way too much talking this morning, maybe family came over. As I head over to the kitchen to grab breakfast, I see someone unexpected. Kel, then I remember everything...it wasn't a dream.
"Oh Y/n!" He says brightly, he walks over to me. "Hey" I say quietly, "well I guess that's it then Kel, be careful walking to school!" My mom says, she smiles warmly at him. My name is nowhere to be heard... I think to myself.
"Tch. C'mon Kel let's go to school" I say heading towards the front door. On my way Kel grabs my shoulder to stop me. "Hey Y/n are you sure you want to leave your mom hanging like that?" he asks whispering.
"Yes, I'm sure Kel...it's not like she cares anyway" I glare at the ground and then look up at him. My eyes soften only just a bit looking at him frown. "Don't worry, I'm okay" I say, I try to smile.
In just a couple seconds he begins to smile back. "Okay then let's go now!" he says happily. Did that really make him happy again? I think to myself as we walk outside together.

When we get to school, I immediately feel everyone staring at me. It's probably because Kel has his arm on my shoulder. "Hey um...Kel?" I look up at him worried, he smiles at me brightly. Too shiny... "yes Y/n?" "Why are you...leaning on me so closely?" I ask a bit embarrassed.
"Huh? oh, sorry!" he says his arm finally off of me. "I-I tend to do it out of habit! sorry again..." I sigh of relief and shake my head. "It's fine but I just don't want people to get the wrong idea..." I say quietly. He stares at me for a few seconds before pulling me into a big hug "aww Y/n! you're so cute!".
I feel my face start to burn, "w-wait Kel everyone's still watching!" I say struggling. I manage to escape after a few seconds, and I start running to class. "Y/n where are you going? wait for me!" Kel yells behind me, I turn to look at him "No! get away from me!".
