When I say "Making Money as a Writer" I mean you can make money while selling books or short stories. However, please do not expect your writing to cover all your bills or anything. Yes, some people can live off making money from books but notice how I said SOME people. Some people will not make as much money as other people. And that is fine! So, when I give these tips please don't just a book and then quit your job when you only make $55 off your book.
The most obvious tip ever is to actually publish your book to earn some money. For example, I want to do self publishing so I plan to earn more money doing that.
Enter writing contests - I've already entered some writing contests and I have only won one so far! However, I do believe the more you apply to contests and the more practice you get you can earn money from them!
Use a website called Upwork to find work and write other people's posts or short stories. I think that will really help me and maybe some other people as well to get money and will help with experience so people (including me) can do better at freelancing and writing
These are just some simple ideas and, of course, there is always more ideas out there online!
