I personally LOVE writing horror and anything to do with the spooks. However, sometimes it can be a bit rough to come up with new ideas for what to add to a horror novel/short story. So, I came up with some ideas!
Slipping on the floor full of blood
Not knowing blood is on your hands
Hearing a baby cry in pitch black
Seeing shadowy figures
A brush of cold air on your ears
Not knowing the difference between a nightmare and reality
Stranded and alone in an old factory
Seeing a dark figure in the corner of a room
Stepping on glass with your bare feet
I know this was a short tip but I hope it helps in some way!
