So, now that I've kind of started this book, I want to talk about color descriptions. If you're like me, you get bored when typing "The red book was on the shelf next to my bed." I mean, it's pretty descriptive, but I think there are other ways to say red that are way more descriptive! Here's some examples:
RED: blush, rose, candy, crimson, scarlet, blood, garnet, and Jam.
ORANGE: Cantaloupe, Carrot, tiger, fire, Yam, Bronze, Rust, and Amber.
YELLOW: Banana, lemon, pineapple, dandelion, butterscotch, gold, mustard, and medallion.
GREEN: Lime, olive, pear, shamrock, emerald, moss, basil, and pine.
BLUE: Arctic, Sky, Sapphire, Teal, Lapis, Navy, and indigo.
PURPLE: lavender, lilac, orchid, iris, grape, violet, and mulberry
BROWN: Peanut, tawny, caramel, penny, pecan, walnut, chocolate, and umber.
WHITE: Pearl, alabaster, lace.
GRAY: Cloud, Fossil, Anchor
BLACK: Lead, Charcoal, and midnight.
These are just a few words that I think help describing color better! Make sure to practice writing <3
