5 months later

I missed you.

I missed you!

It felt like an eternity standing there.

Mickey looks around waiting.

Anxiety creeps up on him as he waits.

Until he hears it.

"Amore!"

Mickey smiles at the sight of Lucia running toward him.

He grips the stems of the flowers he bought for her.

Of course, he already took one from the bouquet to keep for himself.

"I missed you!" She says as she wraps her arms around him.

"I missed you," he says.

"Hey, we missed you too," Bob says playfully as he and Reuben join Lucia in hugging Mickey.

As the three of them hugged the man, he couldn't help but smile.

This is what he needed.

What he wanted.

"Okay, okay, we need to start planning everything," Lucia says as she pushes the two men off her and Mickey.

"Our flight leaves in 3 days, we need to figure everything out,"

Mickey rolls his eyes smiling at her.

"Lucia, we have plenty of time, let's just enjoy this,"

Lucia sighs as she smiles at him.

He then hands her the flowers.

"Let's go then! I've been away from you for 8 months and I want to show you around!" Lucia says grabbing Mickey's hand.

Mickey looks at Reuben and Bob as he's dragged away from them.

"I'll get his bag," Bob says turning around and grabbing Mickey's small suitcase.

"I'll help," Reuben says grabbing Mickey's duffle bag.

The two men follow Lucia and Mickey out to the car.

They could hear Lucia's cheerful voice as she dragged Mickey to Bob's car.

"And you get to meet Aubrey! Reuben is in love with her," Lucia says as she e lo gates the word love.

"Lucia!" Reuben says embarrassed.

"What!? It's true! You're in love with her!"

"Reuben's in love! Reuben's in love!" Bob teases in a sing-song voice.

Mickey smiles at his best friend.

"The same Aubrey you texted me about saying you think the two of you would be cuter than Lucia and I?" Mickey teases.

Reuben smacks his lips and rolls his eyes as Bob opens the trunk.
