16) Mr. Perfectly Fine

Day 9

I never had many expectations from him, but he left me something I never thought he would leave me with - his silence

Life is always this way

Whenever you start to feel that life is having these perfect moments, there is going to be this storm that shall wreck it all. But we are alas humans, once we get glimpses of these perfect moments we start to hope, hope for something even better than the perfect. But hope is a fucking bitch.

I don't even know what happened last night or how it all happened, all I know is that it should have felt so wrong because it was him but it all felt so right. 

We all have stories we'll never tell. He is that story I don't ever want to tell.

*knock knock*

I saw Audrey come in with boxes in her hands, she looked busy. She had this keypad with a checklist on it and a headset where she was screaming "Get it done, I don't care how"

Wow I had never thought I would ever get to see her this fiercy, she always had this calm demeanour even when was angry it would be this wave of low silent sentences which could scare anyone. It was the ladylike demeanor of things. But today she was jacked up.

"Start packing" She said snapping her fingers at me

"What"

"It's moving day" A voice from behind, it was Sebastian

"Moving day" I was still trying to take everything in

"We are moving in- me and Carter" Audrey said

oh fuck

I totally kind of forgot about that 

I mean I can't blame me with the amount of things going on ever since I came to Paris.

"Yes, I mean it's ok, we can get to it now especially with yesterday's problems.." Sebastian was talking and I had to cut him in before he mentioned family problems because honestly there weren't any.

"It's just all- I will pack now Audrey" I said just as I sneezed

"Yesterday's problems" She said rolling her eyes

"Are you fine? you don't look good" Sebastian said

"I'm fine" I said just as I sneezed again

"Well Sebastian , now that's what happens when you get drenched in the rain." She said, I could sense that was pissed just by her tone

"Drenched in the rain, I thought.." 

"I will pack now, Audrey. Don't worry, it will be done." I said sending her away as I pulled Sebastian in.

"I'm going to pack and you are going to leave. And don't tell Audrey anything about yesterday, she is already so stressed. I got that handled." I said 

"Okk but I still don't get if you left that early how you got drenched" Sebastian was asking

I had already started clearing my closet just to avoid all his questions

"I've a lot of work to do so I will just get to it" I said still deflecting his questions

"I just wanted to see you before you left, I mean it's a long drive till there and I got a busy schedule." He said

"Ohh yah I heard it's a bit far away" I said

"Yes and I had to go down and help Carter and Zach too with some of the stuff before they drove off to move in"
