"hey," minho approached with a fresh smile. he didn't try to come too close, or touch the other in any way.

'good start. he didn't greet me with a kiss,' jisung thought and smiled, "hi."

"you look very good," the older complimented as his eyes hovered over his body from top to bottom and up again.

"oh, thanks. definitely not as good as you though," jisung replied with a grin that he couldn't hold back. minho was wearing leather pants and a nice fitting shirt with a sheer top part. he also had several earrings on, a choker and a silvery necklace. he didn't wear his glasses, of course.

'fuck, if he's following the same rules that felix mentioned. he's definitely ready for a date..,' the younger nervously smacked his lips together.

"oh i'm glad you like this.. i actually didn't know if the choker or the necklace is better so i put on both," minho laughed and touched his earlobe.

"well, they match well," jisung smiled and they started walking.

"i was very excited when you asked me out," the taller confessed.

'asked out. he's implying that it's a date. shit,' jisung bit his lip.

"i wanted to ask you but i was debating if it's appropriate and i was debating how to.."

"well, i wanted to keep in touch with you after everything was over," the younger simply replied, "i felt like we bonded.."

"me too," minho nodded, "but i'm sorry for provoking you.. you were just trying to keep everything professional and i was constantly setting a weird undertone between us.."

he seemed sincere and didn't try to make the expression of regret turn into a suggestive tease.

"that's alright. it's not like i was innocent.."

"no, really. i dictated our dynamic, i initiated the kiss and everything.. i should've been able to contain myself."

'if he says, 'but i couldn't' or 'you're too hard to handle' i'll cut him off,' jisung promised himself. he was seeing it coming and took a breath to prepare. but minho seemed to have finished his discourse.

"it's okay. you're older but we're both still young. you were still learning..," the shorter smiled and opened the door to the restaurant for minho to enter.

"thanks. either way, i hope i didn't make you feel uncomfortable with demonstrating my preference for you in class.. i didn't mean to, i just.. couldn't keep it to myself," minho giggled in a self-pitying kind of way. he was genuinely sorry and very cute.

"i wasn't uncomfortable actually," jisung blushed, 'i imagined all the things we could do instead of studying psychology every time i saw you in the classroom,' he wanted to say but he couldn't.

"but anyways, i feel like i know a lot about you but not like some basic things, like what's your favourite colour," the older grinned and leaned on the table. it was sexy and comforting at the same time and jisung huffed before answering.

"maybe black. and red. and yours?"

"pink. but i mostly wear neutrals," minho clarified, "but if i was a colour i think i'd be turquoise or mint, because they are a mix of two colours and kind of fresh," he giggled cutely.

"i think you could be any colour. you were maroon in class and maybe scarlet when we first met..," the younger thoughtfully returned, "tonight you're magenta because there's something really intense about you i think.."

"is that so? well then, you could be light yellow because you look refreshing and pretty."

"haha, thanks. i think i would be grey thought.. because of my.. you know, conformity issues," jisung laughed and made the other do the same, "and because it's a dull colour."

"well, if you look at it that way i guess so but grey is actually not a fit-in colour," minho softly reflected. he took a sip of the drink he'd ordered, "it's the least natural colour so it could be made of many other shades and different colours, you know. you're a patchwork, in fact."

"damn, you're really a talented spirit-lifter, huh?," the shorter looked up and giggled softly but he wasn't kidding, "you have public speaking skills. unlike me," they laughed again.

"um, is now a good time to admit that i didn't listen to a word you said during the presentation? i think it showed, haha," minho replied and leaned forward towards the other.

"fuck, you always smell so good..," the younger couldn't help but slip in as the peachy scent reached him.

"that? it's just my deodorant, or not really. i use febreze for that," minho touched his earring with a smile.

"you mean like.. the fabric softener?," jisung's jaw dropped.

"not fabric softener. it's an air freshener," the older laughed with his hand over his lips. he looked so adorable.

"oh yeah, sorry. i can't believe it works so well!"

"yeah. does wonders for cheap," minho proudly returned, "i would've put on regular perfume for you but i don't think i have one.."

"no, it's alright. i love this smell.. even if it probably smells like a suburban mum's living room on sunday afternoon," the younger joked and they shared a laugh.

"i can still lend it to you if you want.. i think i'm using 'summer fruits' scent.."

"no, no need. i think i only like it because it's on you.. if mr jeon was to wear it i wouldn't like it half as much," jisung responded light-heartedly.

"hm.. i don't think there's anything that can get rid of the fishy smell around him," minho also chuckled, "like, it's so bad that the first time i met him i thought he worked part-time as a sushi chef.."

jisung couldn't help but laugh at that. truth be told, when he first had to approach mr jeon up close, he was also stunned by the smell: he could've sworn the man had taken a swim in a dumpster before coming to class.

him and minho continued joking, not sensing the time go by.
