You started thinking about what Wendy said, no houses in town, and get a house built.? You started reconsidering about living here, you though it was so perfect but if there isn't a house, you couldn't stay. You didn't want to sleep in your car either. Maybe someone would let you stay with them? You just need to socialize. Which you never liked but hey it's what you need to do, it's just how the world works.

You started to walk around when you saw up ahead, the girl from the diner seemingly arguing with a small boy, in a blue suit and white hair? You got closer and it sounded like the boy was named Gideon, the girl named Mabel, and Gideon was apparently Mabels ex? So that argument was gonna get weird. Eventually gideon tryed getting.. To close, despite Mabel telling him to stop.

You chose to intervene, "Hey kid, she said leave her alone." You said in the most stern voice that you could. The girl turned around and gave a thankful smile, which you returned. "Who are you to intrude! Do you know who I am!?" The boy said in the most annoying voice, stomping his foot on the ground. "Rip off George washington I suppose." You said sarcastically. The girl started laughing hysterically. "NO! I am gideon gleeful you brat!" He said now stomping away in rage.

"Thanks, I thought he would never leave me alone, hey aren't you the lady from the diner? I found your wallet." She said smiling up at you. "Yeah I remeber kid, thanks for that. No problem about George Washington Jr too, I went through something similar." You said kneeling down to her. "Im mabel! Whats your name??" She said now eye-level with you. "Im Y/N, Y/N L/N nice to meet you." "Y/N is a very pretty name! It suits you!" She said with a big smile.

"Thanks, Mabels a nice name too, fits you." You say returning the sweet compliment."Your new in town right??? I can show you around. You should see my gruncles gift shop, called the Mystery Shack!" She sounded so excited to see someone new in town, so you stood up from your knees because they started to get sore. "I've seen the mystery shack, I actually spoke to Wendy." You said. "Oh Wendy? I know her. But couldn't I still show you around?" She said waving her hand around.

"Well I would really appreciate that kiddo." You said smiling down at her. She started walking waving you on with her. She showed you the whole little town. The small tour ended around sun-down. Mabel stopped the tour at the road to the mystery shack, she said goodbye and you walked back to your car for the night.

You were glancing over your old notes from astrology when you decided to look at the stars visible from here. They all looked beautiful, soon you drifted into sleep in your car. Luckily you remebered to roll the window down just a tad so you could breathe.

You woke up to the sun shining on your face, you checked your phone and its was around 10:00 am. You get up and brush your hair, which honestly wasn't to hard, despite sleeping in your car. You put on a new shirt after covering up your car windows. You looked presentable, and honestly better hair day than most.

You were sitting in your car thinking on what to do today, just waiting for time to pass. You definitely needed a job, so you were walking down the street looking for anywhere to get work. You couldn't find anywhere, for any amount of cash, let alone enough to get a house built.

Down the street you saw Mabel and another kid, who you asumed to be her brother considering they looked so similar. She seemed to recognize you and grabbed the boy's arm and dragged him over to you. "Hello again Y/N!" She said still roughly grabbing the boy's arm. "Mabel, let go of my arm." The kid said frustrated pulling his arm. "Sorry dipper I just got excited, anyway, dipper meet Y/N, Y/N meet dipper, my brother!" She said turning her attention to you now.

"Hi, nice to meet ya." you honestly can't believe you just said 'nice to meet ya.' "Hi, nice to meet you to, but how do you two know each other?  She looks new in town". Dipper said facing his sister. "She scared Gideon off and I showed her around, I think we're freinds" she said hopping slightly in place. "Yeah I suppose were freinds, thanks for that by the way." You said no able to remember if you thanked her for the tour.

"Wait.. do you have a place to stay? There aren't any more houses in town. Not that I know of at least." Mabel said with the sudden realization. "Oh, I'm just staying in my car for a bit. I might not even stay here now that I think about it." You said trying to reassure her that you won't stay homeless for long. "What? Nononono. I'm sure we can find a way for you to stay!" She said now thinking to herself. "Mabel let's get home, gruncle Ford and I were gonna play D, D and more D today." He said rushing her on. "Oh I know that game, played it a few times. Have fun with that kid, but if someone's waiting for you, you should probably be going." You said trying not to intrude on family time.

"C'mon Mabel!" He said now grabbing her arm and dragging her along, she was still thinking. You felt grateful that someone wanted you to stay with them. "Oh! Dipper I have an idea we.." she said but Dipper eventually pulled her out of hearing distance. You realized you haven't eaten yet today, and only once yesterday so you went back to that diner to eat.

You walked in and the same girl from before greeted you at the door. "Oh hello again, thanks for the tip last time lady." She said happy to see you again. "No problem kid, you deserved it." You said as she walked you to the same table you had before. You ordered more food than last time but still not much, still with a coffee. She brought out your food and your mind trailed off, you didn't have your old notes so you expected that to happen.

What was Mabel's idea? Why was she trying to get you to stay? How could she possibly get you to stay? Maybe she suggested something unrealistic, or weird. Dipper seemed shocked by the idea but from where you were standing but didn't turn it down but seemed confused by it all together.

You pulled yourself out of your thoughts and finished eating, payed and tipped Pacifica well again. You got up to leave and this time made sure you have your wallet. You left and because it wasn't to late you decided to have a little walk around town, just to try and remember the layout. You walked around until sunset, went back to your car, and went to sleep.
