"Sage is What?"

''Go on Alex, tell her'',

Alex let out a deep breath before explaining ''she told me she need to pee, ''so I walked her to the woods and told her I would wait for her and-
''and what? She asked

''That was 30 minutes ago she hasn't been back since '', he nervously scratched the back of his head , which was one thing Datura also did when he was nervous. How suspicious.

''Relax I'm sure we'll find her, come on I saw some lamps in the barn we can go look for her.

They walked through trees in the dark with lit lamps looking for sage, they decided it was best they spilt up Alex and henry searched the village while her and Datura searched the woods .it was pitch black and he had tripped twice over a bunch of vines, and logs ,they had been calling out for Sage for an hour now but still no luck.

"where do you think she went? she asked him

''I don't know '' , he bluntly answered back.
He has been awfully quiet since they came back from the mage. She couldn't help but feel bad for him he was sad and she couldn't do anything.

It was freezing and her legs were tired so she leaned back against one of the trees , she doesn't know why but her attention slowly drifted to the sky
It was so clear not a single star abd then she saw something.
A tiny beam of light ,She second guessed it for a moment but there it was again and it immediately clicked in her head,

she immediately began to run up towards the hill they come from when they first arrived

''Dahlia, what are you doing?" He ran after her alarmed

'' I need to show you something !"
''where supposed to be looking for sage"

''we've been the woods searching for hours she not here I'm sure the others found her.''.
''Dahlia in not sure-
''come on i swear i just saw it !"
she ditches the lamp she was carrying and used her hands to climb up the hill,it too steep she need to make it to the top

''Dahlia what's is all this about? " He said breathlessly climbing behind her

''you ''ll see when we get there!"

And finally they did she stood at the flat top of the hill eagerly staring at the sky, he finally caught up and stood beside her
''Dahlia what are you looking at? there's nothing there'' he looked at her like she was being delusional but she knows what she saw.

She grabbed his hand ''just wait a second I swear I saw it
''Saw what?"
She turned to him '' The lights", she responded '' were up North remember ?"

he confusingly looked back up the sky wondering what she meant but a sudden epiphany kicked in

when he saw a beam of bright purple light emit across a cloud and he felt her squeeze his hand

And in just a spilt second bigger beams of colorful lights flashed through the clear sky.
Purple, green and blue auroral rays covered the clouds and it was breath taking

''I thought -I thought it didn't exist", he murmured below his breathe

''I thought so too", she says " now here we are".

The heart stopping ,beauty array of colors flashed the sky and they watched until

his eyes burnt slightly from the brightness until the colors slowly disappeared between the clouds and a single tear escaped his eye knowing that the younger him wouldn't believe what he was seeing and what was disappearing before him

He turned to Dahlia who hopefully smiled back at him '' thank you he whispered bringing her forehead on to his.
"This is the greatest gift anyone could give me '', he said softly staring into her brown eyes
'' I love you he she whispered back '' she had been scared to say it not knowing if he felt the same she anxiously watched his dark blue eyes
hoping she hadn't made a mistake by saying it but then he smiled at her and said
''I have always loved you Dahlia and I always will " then he kissed her.
He kissed her like it was his last, he kissed her until he was sure she would never forget what his lips felt like,
he kissed until there was no air felt in his lungs ,he kissed her until he was for sure that even in death he would reminisce this moment, he loved her a she loved him and that was all that mattered.
