Chapter 15: Taking Care of Drunkards

Your smile sent shivers down the crews spines.

"Two... I'm not a brat. I'm technically 24. So treat me with respect. I've been in this crew longer than most of you old men."

Old... men?

He gave you a crooked smile, that didn't even look like a smile.

"If you're trying to smile, then do it right. Otherwise you should just eat a smile fruit from Kaido to smile your whole life and lose every single emotion you hav-"

Oh. I shouldn't say that.

"...what?"

"Ah never mind whatever. And three... he deserved it. I did it on purpose. Duh. Wasn't it obvious enough?"

"Not really... but whatever. My name is Hongo, the doctor of this ship.. how come I've never seen you ever since I've been on this crew?"

He looked interested.

"The last time I've been on this ship was about 13 years ago..."

"What?! But you only look about 10 or 11!"

Some of the crew members who were listening in into the conversation yelled.

"All I have to say, is that it's part of my Devil fruit. And the rest is none of your business."

You stuck your tongue out at them and formed an L with you right hand to show that they're 'losers'."

"Shanks! I'm calling your crew the loser crew from now on. You don't look strong."

"Hey! I am strong! Why don't we spar?"

You smirked.

During your time at Mt. Colubo, you trained your Haki the hard way.

Dadan and the other bandits would wonder why you always end up getting injured when you get back. You never told Luffy though, hell either get worried or want to learn it too. Which would change the storyline.

One time, you arrived half dead and Dadan and them panicked so much.

You laughed remembering what happened.

You trained your Observation Haki to the point where you could see a few seconds in the future, like Katakuri. The donut lover, and the favorite antagonist that everyone respects.

You trained your armament haki to where you're able to make it an 'invisible barrier'. Like how Rayleigh did it.

You've never found out if you had Conquerors haki, but determining by how you could use it with the armament haki, you assumed you had it. But you just don't know how to use it.

Yes, you remember the instructions for it. 'To force your will into other people's will'.

It was quite confusing though, so you still haven't gotten the hang of it.

"Well then! Let's spar! I'll show you how strong I got, (Y/n)!"

"And I'll show you how much I've trained, Shanks!"

You grinned.

Shanks paled.

He knew that he wasn't able to defeat you when he was young. As you were already crazy strong at that time.

He saw you punch a tree once, and it created a huge hole between it, and the trees behind got ruined too.

To be honest, you helped Shanks train his observation a little. Just a little. Roger and Rayleigh did the most of it before.

You and Shanks stood in the middle of the ship. Benn was going to shoot his gun to the air to tell you when to start.

Silence.

It was very quiet and not a thing made a sound. Not even the waves of the ocean.

*bang*

The gunshot was fired and in an instant you and Shanks disappeared. You both reappeared when you grabbed his leg, and swung him around.

But he didn't let you do that for long. He broke free and ran towards you, bringing out his sword.

You could tell that he was about to fake to slash you at the face, but really aim for your leg.

It was funny sight to the crew mates really, their captain, a 27-year old man fighting a 11-year old kid?

It seemed crazy. But it was happening before their very eyes.

Conqueror haki clashes happened every 5 seconds.

He thought he was in the offense, not until you disappeared right before him. He couldn't even tell where you were, as you were hiding your presence.

*swoosh*

You zoomed towards him and gave him a huge punch in the gut with armament haki, or the 'invisible armor'.

Throwing another fist at him with an alarming speed, you stopped right in front of his face.

"Man! That was a good spar. Shanks you got stronger! But not strong enough!"

"I'm a pirate.. worth more than a billion. And I should be strong! My armament Haki was working well, but not for you! And my observation haki didn't show that you existed! How the hell are you that fast?! And how does that even work?!"

(A/n: I read online that during this time, Shanks had a billion and something bounty so- correct me if I'm wrong.)

You laughed.

"Guess you'll never find out Shanks!"

When you two were younger on the ship, you would always disappear before Shanks' eyes. He wanted to know the technique for that.

You told him there was no technique and you taught yourself.

He swore that he'll get stronger than you, especially since you younger than him.

You and Shanks were having the 5th spar for the day.

"Come on Shanks! You've already lost 4 times.. just accept defeat!"

"No! I don't want to! I'm going to get stronger and defeat you in the future! When I become a stronger pirate!"

"I'll be waiting for that time then, you better be able to defeat me in the future, or else I get to-!"

"Neh, Shanks."

"Hmm?"

"Since I defeated you... that means I get to.."

You looked around um you to make sure no one was listening.

"......"

Shanks turned into a ghost or something and his soul started to fly away.

"Why don't we talk about this (Y/n)..?"

His soul returned.

You cackled evilly.

"Shanks... a deals a deal, right..?"

He gulped.

Oh how he wanted to die right now.
