Through a series of votes, the International Ice Hockey Federation decided that Korean's national ice hockey teams could qualify directly for the 2022 Winter Olympics. This meant that both men's and women's ice hockey team was guaranteed a spot without participating in the qualifying tournaments.

This was of significant importance to Korean's ice hockey teams. In particular this was a historic breakthrough for the men's ice hockey team as they had never participated in the Olympics.

That night, Lisa and Jungkook did not have training. The two of them were in the library, watching the news with their earpieces plugged in. When they saw this decision being announced, Lisa had goosebumps and grabbed Jungkook's hand.

Jungkook returned her grip. He interlocked his fingers with her.

"Jungkook".

"Mm?"

"Let's go have a drink".

"Okay".

On such a joyous day, the two of them drank. Feeling that it was not lively enough, Lisa called Jimin, Chaeyoung and her speed skating teammates over. Jungkook called his ice hockey buddies over as well.

Jungkook drank a bit much. Lisa discovered that when he drank a bit more, he became an overly attached boyfriend. He kept her in his arms, not bearing to let her go. Then pressed his face next to her and rubbed his cheeks against hers with half-open eyes.

The general populace was paying more attention while the market was expanding. On the whole, the general strength of the domestic ice hockey teams was improving and there was an increasing number of outstanding ice hockey players. This meant that the commerical value of this sport could only increase.

The direction of this development was obvious.

Manager Kang asked Jungkook if he interested in becoming a professional ice hockey player.

If he was interested in representing his country and participating in an Olympics held on this soil.

Actually, that last bit was all he needed to be swayed.

Jungkook told what Manager Kang discussed with him to Lisa. After he finished recapping, his face was unperturbed as he asked Lisa, "What do you think?"

Lisa was filled with deep envy. She chided him indignantly, "You're blatantly showing off. Showing off".

Jungkook tried to soothe her. He said, "I'm merely discussing what happened to me with my girlfriend".

"That's showing off!"

Jungkook tried to comfort her, "I'll only be participating in the professional team's training. Whether I'll enter the national team would depend on my subsequent performance".

"That's amazing enough" Lisa held her chin, lost in thoughts. She suddenly sighed after recalling something.

Jungkook scrutinized her expression. He asked gently, "You're not happy?"

"No, I'm quite happy for you. It just that....we started ice skating together. You're charging ahead at an increasingly high speed while I, I'm still stuck at the original spot. I don't even know when I can get to enter the national team. I want to have the chance to represent my country at a Winter Olympics held on our home ground as well.
