Elizah's POV

Our finals are done and winter is coming. I do not know what to expect in this coming season. Colder weather? Probably. We came from a tropical country! Meaning, the sun is always up.Okay maybe not all the time, but yeah it's pretty much hot there.

So anyway, it's 4:00 in the afternoon. As what we've been doing for the past few weeks now, we hangout at this milk tea and coffee place shop near our school called “Bookworm”. Odd name isn't it? . They named the shop like that because the place is full of magazines and books. It really is an ideal place for people who likes to relax and just read a book while drinking up their tea or coffee. We like it here, because it isn't the usual types of tea and coffee places wherein students talk and laugh like there's no tomorrow.

“What's that?” I asked Dana who was reading a book I haven't seen hold read before.

“Claire De Lune. It's a story about a wolf.” she answered; not tearing off her gaze at the book.

“Oh” Wolf stories. I wasn't really a fan of it. Well, I used to when Twilight became a big hit.

“How about you? What do you got there?” Dana put her book down at the table and took a quick sip at her hot milk tea.

“Umm For One More Day by...” I looked at the cover and continued “Mitch Albom” Okay, I always forgot his name.

“And what's it about?”

“Umm it's about a man who lost his everything and got to see his mother brought back to life again, but only for a day.”

“Oh so her mother was dead?”

“Yeah”

“So is it supernatural?”

“No it's not”

“Is it a non-fiction or fiction?”

“Non - Fic”

“Yikes”

“Why?”

“I wouldn't get to finish that book if I started reading that. I prefer reading fiction from non-fiction. Fictional characters is a lot more interesting.”

“Well that's how I thought of non-fiction at first, but once you've tried reading one you wont think of it as something that's boring anymore and well some really are boring. It usually depends on the plot of the story.”

“Okay” Dana said and continued reading the book she was holding.

I looked outside, seeing the clouds form and darken. Looks like it's going to rain, I thought. I quickly opened my bag, checking if I brought an umbrella and it turned out that I didn't got to bring one.

“Dana, do you an umbrella?”

“No, I don't. Why?”

“I think it's going to rain”

“Uhoh” she said looking outside the window, “No worries! I can just call Smithy later to pick us up.”

Well that was a relief

Like what we've expected, the clouds got darker and rain came and as soon as we finished our drinks, Dana immediately took her phone and contacted Smithy their driver.

“Oh no” Oh no? What does she mean about oh no?, “I understand. I think we'll be able to find some other way. Please tell mom that we'll be fine. Okay, bye!” Dana ended the phone and sighed.

“Looks like we don't have a ride. I'm sorry.”

“It's okay, the rain would probably just stop later.” I told her, but as the time past by it only got worst. Even add up the strong wind. Just by looking outside, I already knew that it was freaking cold out there.
