University life for Laila had been most exhausting of all. Her main goal had been getting a very good gpa to secure a good scholarship outside this country. So Laila spent most of her time in Library.

Other time would be her two friends annoying the heck out of her. During first semester, on fifth day of university she fought with a boy of her class, who now turned into one of her good friends.

Moiz was a good boy and a loyal boyfriend to his girlfriend, who also became Laila's good friends.

Before going to university her father had warned her to stay away from boys here. They came from rich family so many of them naturally were spoilt brats and associating herself with likes of them would bring her nothing but harm.

But somehow she still made a male friend.

Her father would be disappointed in her but she could care less now. It's not like he would be at home for any time soon.

"Your lover boy was asking around for you." Moiz exclaimed, mouth full of food. "You bet-"

"He is not my lover boy"

"- er put him on leash. "

Laila heaved a long sigh hearing her friend's words. Moiz was a really good friend but he would not think a second time to blabber whatever it came to his mind.

And that's what made Laila trust him this much.

To others their friendship may even look like Moiz cheating on his girlfriend with Laila but for each other, they were siblings they craved for so long.

A kinship made ouf of words rather then a weak kin out of blood.

"Do you want me to take care of it?" This time Moiz asked gently. His voice a tender whisper against loud noises of other students. "Just a word and I would do it for you.

Hanan was a guy of their class who took unhealthy liking towards Laila. It bothered Laila, to the point where she had to hide away in university just to get away from him.

She had kinly rejected him, harshly told him to not come near her again but boy, he was adamanted on being one of her biggest headaches.

It's not like Laila didn't do anything about it. Tried talking to her father but apparently he was too busy to listen to his own daughter. Her mother always had something to say without hearing her daughter out.

So Laila didn't bother talking to them again.

Dur-e-Fishan was an option too but Laila didn't feel like talking to her anymore, moreover her wedding was coming soon. So she didn't need to hear out Laila's problems when she had so much to do on her own.

Laila complained to university's authorities but no help. Hanan came from a family more powerful then her's so her complaints seem like falling on deaf ears.

So Laila didn't say a word about it at home.

But Moiz cared. So he tried to take care of the matter silently but Hanan was a bitch who wouldn't listen to Moiz's warnings.

"Here he comes." Miz muttered, his eyes glaring at person behind Laila.

Laila closed her eyes and heaved a long breath. "Lord have mercy. "

Moiz chuckled at her remark before going back to glaring at the person approaching them.

"Hello Laila." She felt disgusted as her name flowed out of Hanan's mouth. "I was looking everywhere for you."

"Too bad you found her." Muttered Moiz's girlfriend as she came and slumped on seat beside Laila.

Hanan rolled his eyes at her before looking back at the doll in front him. Everyone seemed to be enchnated by Laila at University but somehow Hanan managed to keep all of them away from her.

But Laila was too stubborn to come to him. She was making him work hard for her and he didn't mind doing so.

"My driver would be here. I am going. " She looked down at time on her phone and gathered all her belongings.

Her friends nodded at her in goodbye before walking away, with a thicked brain Hanan on her heels.

"Leave me alone Hanan." She raised her brows at one of students who stared at her. "I told you I'm not interested in you."

With that she fastened her face reaching the university gates. Hanan still followed. A fool for doing so.

Just as she reached outside he grabbed her hand."I love you Laila. What can I do to make you believe that?"

"Leave my hand." She glared at the hand holding her back.

"Listen me out please."

And that was the last straw before she let her other hand lose. A loud satisfying noise reached her ears. Students stopped to look at the drama going on.

"You better leave the girl's hand, or else consequences would not be in your favor boy. " A very distinctly familiar voice spoke from beside them making Laila look up at its source.

Only for her to freez in her spot.
