Fiona's POV-
"Hey..." I say as I walk through the window. North looks pretty shocked that I'm here. "I just need a place to hide from Pitch, for a while I guess... Is that ok?" I ask, then realize I practically just invited myself in. "You don't have to say yes." I add, a little too fast.
"No, no, you can stay. You are guardian, remember? Us guardians must stick together! Haha. It's just been a while. How've you been?" North asks, a jolly smile on his face.
"Good, I guess. Excited for Christmas next month?" I ask, I could be smiling maybe but I'm still hiding my emotions from him and everyone.
"Oh, yea, of course! All the children will be so excited, I've already gotten letters." He says, his smile as big as ever.
"Bet so, I can see your proud of that." I say and he laughs.
"I do have a favor to ask you though. A little boy, about five years old asked for a friend. Poor child, doesn't do well with his age range and is too scared of the older ones. Think you can do something?" He asks, I don't know why he asks me but I nod.
"I can set something up the day or a little after Christmas, just give him a letter saying you'll handle it. That will be his favorite gift, I'm sure." I say, happy to be able to help the boy and North.
North leaves, to go check on the work room I guess. I just sit down, trying to think about how long I should stay. Maybe forever, I don't think I could face Pitch again. I'm too scared. I'm so confused, so lost, without him I literally don't know what to do. It worries me, but really... I'm worried about what Pitch is doing right now, what he's thinking, everything.
