24. (Request) Wait, So you're not getting married - Final Part

All the batboys had started to warm up to Marinette, Damian started to mention Marinette in almost every conversation, Jason is ... less violent and has started to tail Marinette. The two of them can't stop gushing over her. Marinette helped Dick get together with Wally. Quite an unusual couple, but still adorable. Damian loved the idea of having Marinette as a mother figure. Tim was still hesitant to Marinette but starting to warm up.

Bruce had just called a group meeting in the living room with all the boys, they all gathered around the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa or coffee for Tim and Bruce.

"So boys," Bruce started "I called you here to tell you guys, I am thinking of getting married."

Tim and Dick looked happy. Jason looked like he was calculating how to show he was happy and approved without smiling, and Damian tried to look like he couldn't care less but his emotions reflected clearly in his eyes.

Marinette was there too, she placed a light kiss on his forehead and smiled at him wiggling her eyebrows at him. He blushed and the boys watched their interaction as they grinned. This was going to be epic.

The boys started preparing for the wedding. Dick always had a grin on his face but that wasn't anything new, it just looked brighter. The boys each had a job for the wedding, dick was incharge of wedding food, Jason was incharge of dress selection, Tim was incharge of budget, Damian was incharge of colour scheme. Each job suits each of the batboys perfectly. Jason chose afew dresses and consulted Marinette who designed a few according to Bruce's description. The boys kept coming to Marinette, she kept directing them to go ask Bruce. Whenever Bruce said he would consult 'her', they were confused. They had tried to mention that they already asked Marinette but Bruce wouldn't hear it, he would just shoo her away.

The day of their wedding all the boys decided to surprise the bride. They walked into the room to see Selina Kyle, wearing a beautiful white gown. Rage boiled in them as they thought that she was trying to destroy Marinette and Bruce's special day. They started screaming at her, Damian was making death threats, Jason pulled out a pistol, Dick was shouting insults, and Tim was glaring at her disapprovingly.

Marinette rushed in, wearing a beautiful sky blue dress embedded with white and blue pearls trimmed with silver embroidered lace. She looked like an angel, who came down from heaven. She stares at the scene in front of her. Selina had tears brimming in her eyes. The boys hadn't realised that Marinette had walked in.

Marinette quickly went in between the boys and her friend. She calmed the boys as they looked absolutely confused as to why Marinette was wearing a very pretty but blue dress. Marinette laughed at the accusations directed at Selina. She mentally made a note to berate Bruce for not making it clear that they were siblings.

"Me and Bruce are siblings, not a couple. Selina and Bruce have been dating for almost 2 whole years. You guys have known me for over a year and you didn't realise that we were siblings?" Marinette giggled.

The boys looked sheepish and embarrassed and apologised to Selina, they accepted her as the bride and the wedding continued.

Marinette stood at the front alongside her brother and his best man who looked cute at the least. He had nice muscles and a cute look, always pushing his glasses up his nose. He looked dorky, and adorable at the same time. She decided to get to know him after the ceremony. She learned that his name was Clark Kent and he worked in the daily planet. He is Bruce's best friend and was a superhero. Of course he was a superhero, what did she expect? He was the one and only Superman.

Bruce was going to hate the fact that she is crushing on his best friend and a superhero for that matter. Well he couldn't really say anything because that would be hypocritical. He crushed on, dated and just got married to her best friend who was a villain. Lets just say 7 years later there was a new superhero who had superhuman powers and dressed in a spandex ladybug themed outfit. There were also two very proud parents, one superhero and the other a human.
