- keeps getting recruited for scholarships from other schools — all declined

- prefers to stay in the botanical gardens

- sees it as his responsibility to take care of the plants and the students

- creates herbal medicines in alchemy to give to students

Alhaitham

- helps Idia manage databases, gather data, and update software

- often viewed negatively, due to his unfeeling rationality

- excellent at programming despite having no prior experience

- has a soft spot for Ortho, though he hides it

Nahida

- almost never seen by the students

- secretly helps students do their homework by possessing them

- shares her insecurities about being "not good enough" with Idia

- sends Ortho to relay messages for her to others

- all the teachers love her

- constantly gets locked out of the room
