Chapter Forty Nine

Rosalie’s P.O.V
After hearing what Voldemort said to everyone, I couldn’t help but let my worry for Edeline grow as I know what will happen if she goes into the forest with Harry, “I’m not letting her go there Remus, I can’t.” I told him as I looked at her, “look at me Rosalie, look at me. I know you’re scared and I am to believe me and I hate myself for saying this, but I don’t think either of them has a choice at this point so I think we might have to trust them on this alright.” he said to me as he held my face in his hands as tears slipped down my face, “I can’t let her go Remus, I can’t.” I said as I began to cry a little harder before feeling someone hug me and I looked to see that it was Edeline before I hugged her back, “you know I have to go mum. It’s bad enough he started this and it will be even worse if he tries to kill everyone if we hide from him.” she told me and I had her look at me as we stood up, “you mean more to me than anything. I love you my darling girl. Your brother will love you too.” I told her and she smiled a little, “where is he anyways?” she asked me, “he’s with your grandfather.” I told her before the three of us left the three of us had left the Great Hall for the time being before we sat on the stairs for a while before seeing Ron and Hermione sit down next to us, “how are you feeling Ron?” I asked him, “I don’t know to be honest.” He said as we continued to talk for a while before hearing something and turned to see Harry walking down the stairs, “where have you been?” Hermione asked him, “We thought you went to the forest.” Ron told him as Harry continued to walk past us, “I’m going there now.” Harry said to him, “you’re not going alone, you’re not the only one he’s after.” Edeline said as she walked beside him, “are you both mad? No, you can’t give yourselves up to him.” Ron said to him, “what else can we do Ron? At this point I don’t think we have a choice.” Edeline told him, “What is it Harry? What is it you know?” Hermione asked him, “there’s a reason I can hear them and why Edeline can slightly hear them too. the Horcruxes, I think I’ve known for a while. And I think you have to.” Harry said before looking at me, “I’ll go with you both.” Hermione told him, “no, kill the snake. Kill the snake and it’s just him.” Edeline said before Hermione hugged the both of them and I couldn’t help but cry a little myself as I held onto Remus’s hand and once Hermione moved away from the hug, I rushed over to do the same and hugged both Harry and Edeline, “I love you both, do you understand? Whatever happens, don’t lose hope alright.” I whispered to them before I moved away from the hug to look at the both of them before letting them go as the both of them walked down the stairs to do what Voldeort wanted them to do before hearing someone rushing down the stairs and looked to see that it was Draco, “where is she?” he asked us, “she already left with Harry. Why are you just getting here now?” I told him as he let out a sigh, “we got separated during the fight.” he told me and I nodded and I walked over to him, “look at me?” I asked him and he’d done so, “she talked to me about the both of you and her feelings for you. Now, I want to ask you something, do you truly love her like she does you?” I asked him and he just looked at me as he thought of the words, “I know her and I along with the other’s didn’t get along from the start but ever since the Yule Ball, that’s when my feelings towards her changed. I didn’t say anything about them at first before the both of us started exchanging letters and agreed to keep it secret for the time being knowing how everyone else would react about it. But to answer your question, yes I do, I love her more than anything.” he said to me and there was a moment of silence before I smiled a little, before speaking, “if you do anything to harm my daughter, you will lose both hands, do you understand?” I said to him and he nodded, “yes Ma’am.” he said before I hugged him, “then I accept this relationship between you and my baby.” I said to him before moving away from the hug before Remus walked over to us before he held out his hand and both himself and Draco shook, “I would have to agree with my wife. If you do anything to hurt her, I will make sure that you’ll regret doing so.” Remus said to him as Draco quickly nodded, “I promise sir.” Draco said before we walked back to the Great Hall and sat down with the others for the time being.
