Nova's POV:
Both Kaden and Leo had seemed more off than usual which had concerned me.

"They took more people to work on the Death Star." Kaden responded.

"Some they just executed. That's all we saw. That's all we know" responded Leo.

"Damn I really missed alot" I responded.

The mood was definitely low in the cafeteria due to the disappearances.

"I mean on the bright side we didn't lose anyone important!" I tried to cheer them up. "Dyn and Aldeena are on the Death Star so they're probably okay"

I might've been a bit loud because oh of the corner of my eye I had noticed several glares and expressions of shock directed towards me.

"That's not the point" sighed Leo. "Sure they may not have any importance to us but they're still people Nova. I know you struggle with having a sense of humanity" he rolled his eyes.

"Listen. Yes it does suck that random people have been disappearing and dying but it's a part of life. It's going to happen. I came to terms with that a while ago. To be honest with you, if I didn't come to terms with that, then my fathers death would have broken me more than it had. I could've been wallowing in pity and depression but no I took control of the situation and ran a pretty decent crime syndicate out of my bar." I responded.

I sighed.

"I also wouldn't have been able to react and save you in time Leo" i added.

"Okay well you're built different I don't know what else to say" responded Kaden.

"What if we're next?!" Responded Leo.

I couldn't lost my best friends. They were all I had left. Perhaps I had grown too dependent on them.

"Earth to Nova!" I zoned back in to Leo waving his hand in front of my face.

"I'm here I'm here I swear" I responded.

"Why do you keep coming back?" Asked Kaden. "After all, weren't you upgraded to apprentice or something?"

"I guess so" I shrugged.

"And then you end up back here?" Leo tilted huis head to the side. "Seems like he's using you"

I clenched my hands into fists.

"Leo the AUDACITY to assume such a thing!" I slammed my fists down on the table.

"Think about it. You guys do some Sith stuff and then play hide the salami and then you're back here. Square one" Leo responded.

I hated to admit that he had a point. I was used and then tossed back to the bottom like a used tissue.

"Even if you were hypothetically right what the hell would I even do about it?" I snapped back at Leo.

"Is the great cherry haired menace coming to me for advice?" Leo smirked.

"I swear Leonardo I will wipe that smirk off your face" I sighed.

"I don't know maybe using your mouth for talking instead of other things for a change" snapped Leo.

"You weren't complaining about the usage of my mouth years ago" I snapped back at him.

Leo's eyes widened and a blush spread across his face.

"Now then," I placed my hands on the table. "Where were we?"

"Giving you advice until Leo-" Kaden started.

"I swear" Leo muttered under his breath.

"Well then," Kaden glanced to the side before turning back to me. "Just talk to him this time. While Leo doesn't always have the best ways to get his points across, he had a point in what he had said earlier. You wont get anywhere by playing hide the salami"

I sighed.

"Okay I guess that makes sense" I sighed in defeat.

"You've gone soft"

I turned to see an unfamiliar face laughing at me. It was some girl with light blonde highlights.

"You know," she started pacing. "I actually used to look up to you. You were a storing powerful woman who ran a crime syndicate out of her own bar. Hell, the wall blood splatter is a well known story."

She briefly glanced at Leo who had avoided her gaze. Almost as if she knew it was him I saved that day.

"But now you're nothing more than the dark lord's plaything." She broke out laughing. "It's honestly sad to see someone fall so far down like that. Never meet your heroes"

I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Aww what are you gonna do about it, Batista? Call your lover Vader?" She laughed.

Without a single word I got up and used the force to slam her body on the ceiling. When she had fallen back down she had bitten her tongue.

"Never ever tell me I've gone soft" i sneered.

At this point rage filled my body as I climbed on top of the table.

"Well go on!" I threw my hands up in the air in defeat. "Anyone else want to come forward and tell me that I've 'gone soft'?"

Not a single soul moved.

"Just as I thought" I responded before climbing down from the table to rejoin my friends.

Next thing you know I feel a stormtrooper hand in my shoulder.

"You're coming with us" one of them said.

"As usual" I rolled my eyes.

Only this time I saw two stormtroopers grab Leo and Kaden as well.
