12- Shenanigans and Goodbyes

Nova's POV:
A new day meant another day with my best friends Mr. Bucket and Mr. Mop.

After the last incident with me riding the bucket down the hall into the wall, the stormtroopers wouldn't let us work together as a group of 5 so I often ended up with Kaden and Leo while the other two were on some other part of the ship.

Today they led us to a landing bay full of ships and tossed cleaning supplies at us.

"Woah these ships are insane" said Leo.

"Yea," Kaden nodded. "I wonder why they would trust us in here"

It wasn't long before I climbed on top of a ship and played around with the mop. I put it on my crotch area.

"Hey guys look I have one too!" I snorted before falling over laughing.

Kaden snickered while Leo rolled his eyes and buried his head in his hands.

"I bet it's bigger than yours!" Joked Kaden as he poked Leo in the side.

Leo sighed and began to actually start cleaning stuff. He had taken a sponged and had used the bucket water along with paper towels.

"I have a faster way of doing this" I said as I kicked over the bucket of water, which spilled down the aisle the ships created.

With a running start, I hopped on the mop and slid down the way, but this time I stopped myself before a dead end.

Leo had rolled his eyes while Kaden had shrugged.

"I mean it was faster" said Kaden.

Darth Vader's POV:
"What is the meaning of this, lord Vader?" Asked Darth sidious.

"I want to take on an apprentice" I had told him.

"Who?" Sidious had throw his arms up in the air out of frustration.

"There is another person on this cruiser with a connection to the force. Nova Batista."

"What pray tell you think you can teach that girl?! She gets into a new form of trouble every week and basically gets off scot free! Vader you've grown a soft spot for her." He yelled.

"She could be a powerful ally to our side. I'm sure you're aware of all the legends and rumors regarding the cherry haired girl and what she had done"

"You bring up an interesting point. Morality wise she already would fall under the sith category as she is known for being a cold blooded killer. But she is disobedient. Unruly. She causes trouble for our stormtroopers who dread dealing with her"

"I can fix that" I started. "If she does not comply then she will be dealt with"

"Good." He started. "I trust that you will succeed in this matter"

I secretly hoped that Nova would agree to becoming my apprentice and I wouldnt have to 'make sure she was dealt with'.

Nova's POV:
After what felt like years of cleaning work, we were escorted to the cafeteria where our bland meals awaited us.

Glancing over at old man Scotty's former table, several fearful expression had looked my way.

Good.

I flipped my hair at them and proceeded to grab my tray of food.

"How was your day?" Aldeena had asked once we all sat down together.

"We cleaned some of the Bay Area with ships in it" I shrugged.

"What dumb shit did this one pull this time?" Joked Dyn, who had pointed at me.

"Mop slip and slide" Kaden responded.

"Why am I not surprised?" Asked Dyn.

Aldeena seemed to be mentally elsewhere as she looked off in the distance.

"Aldeena are you okay?" I gave her a poke.

"They're transferring us to the death star for maintenance work" she looked down at her untouched food.

"Wait we're all leaving?" I was confused. Also part of me didn't want to leave the cruiser Darth Vader was on because I had so many questions. About many things.

"No. This is the bad part." Aldeena started. "They're transferring me and Dyn away from you guys"

Kaden's face dropped and Leo seemed disappointed.

"Well I think speak for the boys here when I say we're gonna miss you two a lot" I told them as Kaden and Leo had nodded.

"Hate to admit it but I'll miss the daily Nova updates" said Dyn.

"Aww so you dont hate me!" I joked.

"Don't push it Red" he responded.

"It's cherry haired menace to you" I patted him on the shoulder. "Well this might be our last meal together so let's make it one to remember!" I cheered.

We had talked and laughed and cried all within the span of the meal break time.

"What's something either of you have always wanted to do?" I had asked Aldeena and Dyn.

"Ooh! I've always wanted someone to use the force to lift me up!" She cheered.

Dyn just shrugged.

"Consider it done" I told her as I started focusing on the force to lift her into the air.

The expression of sheer joy had taken over her face as she smiled and laughed, waving her hands and arms in the air.

Little did I know this was going to be my last stunt for a while.
