Narrators POV:
Nobody truly knew where the little cherry haired girl came from or how she showed up on those bar doorsteps in Tatooine.

But the owner of the bar never questioned it and took her in to raise as his own.

As years went by and she grew up, she learned her way around her world and became a helper around the bar.

Arlo Batista had a particular way of running his bar- he was a ruthless man who would do whatever he needed to do to keep the bar running and the money coming in. If lives were lost in the process he would say 'that's just business'

It was unorthodox of him to take in a child as one would think his home and job were no place for a child. But the young girl, she idolized him. He may have been her only role model and parental figure but she aspired to be just like him.

As time passed by, he grew fond of the child. Not only did she provide help, but also made him smile. He had a soft spot for her and had tried his best to raise a daughter.

At age 3 she ran around the bar, playing with bottle caps and shot glasses and occasionally bothering a patron.

"Sweetie what are you doing here?" Said a bar patron as she gave him a blank stare.

"Well this is Mr. shotty the shot glass and caps the bottle cap! Mr. Shotty owes caps several thousand credits so caps is gonna hire stabby the fork as a paid assassin!" She exclaimed with joy to the concern of other patrons.

The owner didn't pay any mind to her childish adventures no matter how much they replicated what he did.

No one paid too much attention but there were moments where she would make shot glasses and bottle caps and some utensils levitate. They would float around in the air as she would flick and move her fingers to manipulate the objects' movements.

At age 7 she worked in the back room and then cleaned after closing hours. Many patrons were still confused and concerned about a young child spending time in a bar, but some were used to the little quirky cherry red haired girl who ran around bussing tables and helping out.

At age 13 she started helping out the bartenders and the waiters / waitresses. There were people older than her that looked down upon her, and she felt a bit out of place. But she had brought in some school friends to help her out.

She had also played around more with what she believed was a parlor trick, however she was using the force to lift things and make them levitate.

At age 16 her father had been killed from an extreme bar fight and most of the older employees had left the bar. The girl and several of her school friends were left to run the whole bar.

While she was grateful that the bar owner had cared for her and gave her food and a roof over her head, she didn't feel much pain or sorrow for the loss. In fact, she felt that she needed to avenge the man that raised her. By running the bar herself and continuing its legacy.

The bar was left in the hands of the cherry haired girl, the boy with the shirt messy brown hair, the boy with the slicked back black hair, and a few other classmates who had nothing better to do or just wanted to have protection under the cherry haired girl who had made a name for herself.

Running a bar was more difficult than it looked. From serving shady characters to dealing with crime syndicates to bar fights it was a mess for the young girl to deal with.

However it did not take her long to follow in her father's footsteps. When she ran into issues she would just think what would my father do?

She had made many difficult decisions that sometimes fell into the morally gray area.

Some people had started avoiding the bar and others were more careful since the girl who ran the bar was essentially holding up a smaller version of a crime syndicate.

There were times she had to turn her back to murders in the bar, and other times where some of her own people had to take the fall.

She loved her friends and employees to death but there were times where she had to throw a few under the bus for her own sake. Despite having some friends, she never allowed herself to get emotionally close to anyone after seeing her father fall lifelessly in front of her eyes. She knew from that point on that close attachments would only lead to trouble.

Then there were other times where she had held thieves at gun point and other times where she had to pull the trigger.

When she had to do at she had to do there wasn't a hint of emotion in her eyes. Some even considered her the cherry haired cold-blooded killer.

There was a time where a man had tried to steal several bottles and had tried to kidnap an employee. With a pull on the trigger, the cherry haired girl had splattered his brains all over the wall near the entrance.

It's still there as a reminder as to who runs the bar and what happens if you fall out of line.

At age 17 the cherry haired girl had bigger problems to deal with. Another man had attempted to claim the bar and did not back off even when she had shot him in the leg several times. Her and the man went back and forth stuck in their own civil war.

Eventually her and the man had come to an agreement that benefitted both parties. They both agreed to share ownership of the bar.

She and her friends had been able to keep their jobs as part of the deal and she still had a place to stay.

For about 2 years or so, this agreement had benefitted both parties but the cherry haired girl decided that she wanted more. To potentially make friends in high places. She knew she could only go so far in the world managing a bar. She still worked hours there to make money on the side but it was no longer her main focus.

So the ownership of the bar fell onto the man but the rest of the deal remained the same.

She was known as the cherry haired girl, the cherry haired menace, the cherry cold blooded killer, and cherry blood splatter, but her name was always forgotten. Barely anyone knew her as just Nova Batista.
