14- Taste of Danger

Nova's POV:
I had stayed out of trouble for weeks to avoid having to deal with Vader after that last encounter. I didn't know how I would face him after what I had said last time.

I spoke too soon. Stormtroopers grabbed my arms and proceeded to drag me away.

"Lord Vader has requested your presence" they had stated.

"But I didn't even do anything wrong this week!" I defended myself.

Key word: this week.

"Why he requested to see you is beyond me. Good soldiers follow orders" responded one of the stormtroopers.

I was half dragged half guided to Vader's office and had felt sick to my stomach. Guess now I acutely have to face him after that last encounter.

"Why am I here?" I panicked. I couldn't let him know that I actually kind of wanted to see him.

"Seems like you actually wanted to be here too"

Fuck. I forgot he could read my thoughts.

"No like what did I do? I've stayed out of trouble for weeks so why am I here"

"I know" he started. "There is something I wanted to talk to you about"

I raised an eyebrow.

"You have a connection to the force and I've seen what you could do. I believe that with the proper training you could become a Sith Lord."

If I had drank a cup of water at this moment I would've spat it out on the spot.

"A Sith Lord?" I was in shock.

"Yes. I want you to become my apprentice" he had responded.

A rush of adrenaline had hit me. I was basically gonna be his right hand. For a moment I let my mind wander. I imagined myself standing side by side with him with our lightsabers out, conquering the world. But I had to ground myself in reality even though this was the most exciting news I had heard in weeks.

I was back baby.

"And what if I say no" I teased him.

Something I said probably ignited something in them because he stood up from his desk and had towered over me.

"Then you would be dealt with" he responded.

I stood up in an attempt to meet his gaze through his helmet but I forgot he was like a foot taller than me.

"What're you gonna do about it?" I glanced up at him with a playful twinkle in my eye.

"This" he said as he proceeded to force chokehold me once again.

Uh oh did he forget I was kinda into that?

"I didn't forget" he said.

My eyes widened. I was pressed up against the wall in his force chokehold as he made his way over to me. Adrenaline and excitement rushed through my body despite my difficulty breathing.

Moments later he had let me go and i had collapsed onto the floor. I looked up to see him tower over me once again.

It took me a moment to catch my breath but I looked up at him in a playful manner.

"How come I've never seen what you look like?" I asked him. "There's gotta be someone under that helmet" I raised my eyebrow.

"What's in it for me?" He asked, to my surprise. I did not expect him to react that like that.

Didn't think he was even going to acknowledge my advances after the last encounter.

"Surprise me" he said.

"It's a deal Vader" I smirked.

It was the first time I had seen him take off his helmet. Burns and scars covered a huge part of his face and head, and pain resided in his eyes. His eyes were complex, as I saw many emotions in them. It was a mix of pain, anger, and at this point lust.

He wasn't much older than me which quite honestly was a relief. I liked them powerful but not old and wrinkly.

I walked a circle around him, to his confusion and stopped right in front of him.

I threw my arms around him and pressed my body up against his. Our eyes had met and for a moment I saw his glowing yellow eyes turn a shade of icy blue.

Our lips met for a brief moment. I loved the taste of him and wanted more. He wasn't the only one with lust in his eyes at this point.

I loved the taste of his lips and I yearned for more but I stopped myself.

I made my way towards the door.

"Don't you think that was a bit vanilla?" He had said, catching me off guard.

"One thing the galaxy won't tell you is I'm a tease- I always leave them wanting more." I winked at him "Til next time, Darth Vader"
