Lina finally started walking.
I'm so excited but at the same time the hustle is becoming unimaginable.

She doesn't like sitting in one place or lying down, she's always trying to go somewhere else. She almost fell down the staircase the other day.

Yesterday Abdul didn't know she followed him out of the house when he went to wash his car, something he apparently likes doing during the weekends, he says it reminds him of days he'd sneak out of school for the weekend. Anyway it was her laughter that made him notice her, she also uprooted some of Khairat's flowers, Khairat is obsessed with making everything perfect, she didn't seem pissed though.

So now we have to check whatever it is we're doing before we end up locking our daughter.

Plus she's turning one in a month.
"I can't believe she's going to be one" Safina says excitedly as she holds the girl's hand and walks around the room.

I nod smiling "Yeah, it's been a great year"

"So? What are the plans for the baby shower?" Safina asks "I'm so excited".

I roll my eyes "That's a waste of time"
"No it's not, you declined when I begged you but all I know is that I can't wait"

"Well she says she's having just a few friends and family, she said I can invite some of my friends" I tell her.
"She told me the same too, I'm so excited. I haven't attended any social gathering since my divorce so I bet things might be a bit awkward".

"Don't worry everything is going to be fine" I say getting off the bed "Now to save you from her, she'll walk with you for hours, she never gets tired"

She chuckles.

Khairat's POV.

Recently Safina got a job as a lawyer in a mediocre law firm.
Apparently she has to work there for a year before a friend of her father's can hire her.
Normally there has to be a 2-3 year working experience but it's a favour for a friend.

Things are kind of difficult because with so many cars in the house getting my car out can be frustrating.
There's mine, two of Abdul's, Iqram's, Safina's and my dad recently got Ramla a car too so it's also here.

From a distance I could see a car parked infront of my house.

I park right behind it.
There was this video I once saw of a man pushing a pregnant woman to escape after she caught him stealing, she lost her child so I try to be very careful what I interrupt.

Safina comes out of the car with a guy, he seemed to have dropped her off. They talked for a bit before he drove off.

She was about entering the house when she noticed me, I was smiling like a fool, she looked terrified.

We sat in my living room, sipping pineapple juice in silence. I was waiting for her to speak up first.

"It's not what you think" she blurts out.
I raise my eyebrows "So you're not dating him?"

She smiles shyly "No, I am but it's complicated".
I nod "If you say that then that means you don't want your brother finding out"

She smiles which means she doesn't.
"Okay but at least try to explain why"

She takes a deep breath "His name is Muhsin Junaid and he was my brother's neighbor"

I gasp "The neighbor? I thought he was getting married?"
"He canceled it when he realized the girl was lying about liking his son, Fayan. He says he wants a woman who will love him and accept his son as hers"

I raise my eyebrow "And you're that woman?"
"I'm hoping to be, I really like him and I want to make this work. He's different from Sadiq and I know it's not going to be easy for Hamma to accept it because of my past"

I nod.
I get how she must feel.
"But Isn't keeping it from him worse?"

She nods "I know but I'm scared of telling him, I'm afraid of his reaction"
"What if I tell him?"

"Really you would?" She asks excitedly.
"Yes, I'll explain everything in a way that he'll understand and then everything will be left to you".

"Thanks" she says hugging me.
"Too tight"

"Sorry" she says laughing.

Abdul covers me with the duvet and sits on the bed, resting his head on the headboard.

"So? I've been thinking about baby names"
He turns to me excitedly.

"I don't want them having those identical names but for them to start with the same letter".
He smiles "Remember all those times we talked about what we'd name our kids if we had twins?"

I giggle thinking about them.
"Yeah, you loved that name so much. You saw it on a platform and made plans since then"

He laughs "It was unique, it made me keep wondering what our babies will look like" he frowns "Although I've never been the type of guy to like all those gender reveals, I just want to know my baby's gender so I can get them things I like. Going shopping I see things I want but I don't know whether it's a boy or girl, whether I should get it or not, it's a painful feeling".

I smile "I get it"
Having twins and all the experience has been something he has always wanted and I don't want to take that from him.

"Well I called and asked Dr.Linda for our baby's gender"

He looks at me surprised, smiling from ear to ear "Are you serious? So? What is it?"

"Abdulrazaq Othman you're having twin baby girls"
He bursts out laughing, hugging me, tightly might I add.

"Too tight"
He immediately lets go "Sorry, sorry. My bad".

I just smile watching him laugh.
He gets off the bed excitedly pacing around my room "Wow, God answered my prayers".

He prostrates performing (Sujood Ash-Shukur: it's a prostration which is performed for Allah in order to show (Shukr) which is thanks and gratitude).

He stands laughing.
"So? Aaya and Amaya?" He asks as he sits next to me and clasps my hands.

"Our dreams are coming true"
"They are"
