The 19-year-old Red Bull racing driver is moving to rival team next year! Although the driver has not arrived at track yet this morning it is only a matter of time till she does.
The record breaking King, has been keeping everyone on their toes since she started her career in formula one when she was just 17-years-old. The British driver is set to become the youngest World Champion and First women to ever win the F1 World Championship.
When Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team confirmed it this morning, the Instagram post came with a official statement from the CEO and Team Principle, Toto Wolff, who spoke very highly of the 19-year-old.
"Everyone agrees she'll be such an asset to the team. We can't wait for Ezralia to be in the Mercedes next season, running rings around everyone else on track" - Toto Wolff Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team Ceo and Team Principle.
Although not all good news for drivers on the grid this morning. It has also been confirmed that George Russell will be the teams reserve driver.
