Mind Games

Lisa woke up to a nice smell of bacon and eggs. She put a cosy jumper on, put her hair in a bun and went off to brush her teeth. She looked in the mirror and laughed at the way she looked, a big jumper, small shorts and long socks.
She was finishing up brushing her teeth and she looked in the mirror one last time and her eyes were glowing again and her tooth brush melted.

"Void i need a new fucking tooth brush" he asked her what was wrong with the one she was using and she told him it melted. He gave her a confused look and he wanted her to explain about herself.

"I'm a phoenix but that's all i really know so yeah" she knew she had to do some research.

He looked her up and down and just smiled.

"We have to lay low but i'm going to see Peter Hale and"

"No way you're going to see him." he interrupted her

"Fine you're coming with me" she shoved a bacon in her mount and left to go to her bedroom to change. "Can we also move somewhere else, change of scenery you know." she said before closing her door.

They got to Derek's loft, Void didn't even bother knocking he just opened the door. Peter was there just looking out the window.

"Hello Angelica"

"Hi Peter"

"Don't take too long Angel, i'll be sitting on the stairs" his voice made Peter turn around, he asked what was he doing there. Void answered for her saying he's there for protection.

"Right okay whatever. You're a phoenix, you have super strength and speed like a werewolf. You can heal and your tears have healing powers aswell. Oh and you're immortal but that's all i know" she thanked him for his time and told him she was going to do some research herself too.

Void said he found an apartment not too far away from there so they could have a look on their way back home.

"Bye lovebirds" said peter with an annoyed forced smile

"Shut up Peter" Lisa said and he just chuckled.

The apartment had a nice view, a good kitchen and a pretty cool living room. There was only 1 bedroom but it had a double sized bed. Lisa hesitated but agreed. She thought she would just force void to sleep on the sofa if he ever annoyed her. They decided to take the apartment. It took them a couple weeks to move in but it was perfect.

"Movie night?" he asked with a sly smile. Lisa agreed and she expected him to let her pick a movie but he refused and out on a scary movie. The sofa in their new apartment was smaller than the one in the old one. Everytime there was a jump scare she would cover her face with the blanket. The movie finished and Lisa ran straight to the bed and under the sheets. He went to the kitchen to get himself a glass of water. Void was about to take his top off and he heard Lisa lightly snoring, he was definitely going to tell her about that tomorrow. He lay into bed trying to sleep but he just couldn't. Lisa snuggled into his chest, his heart raced, he carefully put his hand on her back hugging her and making sure she feels safe.

"No one's going to hurt you my Angel, i promise" he kissed her forehead and fell asleep.

Lisa jolts up when she realized that she was cuddling with Void the whole night. Void opened his eyes and said "good morning love" in a sleepy voice. She looked at the time and it was just after 11. She got dressed and started making late breakfast and told Void to get up.

After breakfast the pair went shopping to get some more food for the house. They bump into someone familiar. Scott. He tried speaking to her but she just shoved him aside and walked away. Void sent him a cold stare and followed Lisa. He asked if she was okay but deep down he already knew the answer. How can she be? That's her twin and that's the longest they've been in a fight.

Lisa didn't look like herself so Void offered her to go on a walk after they drop the groceries off at home. As they were walking Lisa's eyes suddenly started to glow. Void tried taking her hand but in doing that he burnt himself. Lisa saw that she hurt him and her anger turned into sadness and tears.

"I'm so so sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you! Please let's go home i'll fix it up a bit, i have some creams at home that will help!" she said in panic while holding his hand and looking at the damage she caused.

"Darling look at me, it's fine, i'm okay, we're okay." he somehow managed to calm her down.  She looked down at his hand once again. Her tears fell on it when she was observing it before but when she was looking at Void, those tears healed his hand. She was a big confused but then remembered the research she did. Her tears can heal anything.

She was overjoyed that she could fix the damage that she caused. Void just sat there watching her smiling and genuinely being happy. It made him happy too. He's not the same evil spirit that wanted to make everyone miserable, she changed a part of him. When he's with her, he's happy.
