7 months laters. . .
I opened my eyes and saw some heavy lights in front of me. I feel a slight pain underneath my belly. Once I turned my head to the side I see Drew holding our baby in his hand. I just remembered, the doctor told me I was having a stalled labor and they were worried I had to get C-section.
"You're awake, how are you feeling," Drew ask and walked over to me from where he was sitting.
"I'm okay," I tell him and he came to kiss my kiss cheeks. I see Drew takes a huge sigh of relief.
"My baby is okay," I tell him.
"Come meet mommy." Drew says and give him to me to hold. His beautiful, I'm really happy his okay. I was worried sick I wouldn't get to see my baby.
"You're crying honey," Drew says and wiped out my tears.
"His so beautiful, I'm really happy that his okay."
"I am too, I'm happy you're both here with me. I don't know what I would of done," Drew says. I lift my head up and my lips over to kiss Drew. This is really a blessing for me. Our little family is finally starting to grow.
"Thank you for being here with me Drew. Thank you for holding my hand when I needed it most."
He smiled and came to kiss me on my lips.
"Listen there's nothing I wouldn't do for you, and thank you Jade for bringing me this much joy." Drew says lightly tap his fingers on the baby's cheeks. His so small and chubby I can't believe it. I'm almost scared to not squeeze him too much.
"Sebastian," Drew says suddenly.
The name I picked out for my him. Drew remembered. I always loved the name Sebastian for a boy.
"Sebastian J Williams."
"What's the J for, is it your name?" Drew asked me.
"No, it's Jefferson, his grandfather."
Drew suddenly stayed silent moment.
"What?" I ask him.
"Jade, you want my dads name on his birth certificate?" Drew says.
"Of course, I want our kids to know him."
Drew smiled after. He hold Sebastian tiny hands with two fingers.
"How are we doing?" The doctor knocked on the door before entering with a nurse.
"I'm okay," I tell him.
"That's great, any pain? You might start to feel some cramps."
"A little bit." I tell him. I can feel underneath my belly where they cut me for them to take Sebastian.
"I'll write you a proscription for that," he says.
"Jade you're okay?!" My mom and Bert came running over to my side. I see Drew's mom also. She has tears all over her eyes. She must of been so worried when she heard I had to do a C-section.
"I'm okay mom," I tell her to ease her worry.
"Thank goodness you're alright." She says.
"I told you she'd be okay," Daniel walked in with Lizzie holding balloons and teddy bears.
"Daniel hush you were worried sick too," Lizzie said. Just then I saw Chris and Rosie along with Christine walked in.
"You're all here," I say.
"I'll come back later," I hear the doctor said and left the room.
"Can I hold him," Christine said.
