Ch 13 [Two Assassin's]

Taeko's P.O.V

Tonight i was tasked with dueling against, Tatsumi the son of the person who created Murasama. I knew he would likely recognize me if i confronted him without caution, i recall that he hasn't seen me in my suit only a robe so if i wore the suit and a mask he shouldn't recognize me.

I opened my closet and pulled out an old mask that was gifted to me by Babara.

It might look odd to you, but it's rather effective. The purple on the mask is all one way material, i can see through it while no one can see in, it also protect's my eye's from flashbang's so that's a plus.

Babara:"When it come's to fighting youngster's-

-There's no one who can defeat out Taeko."

Taeko:"I shall return once the mission is complete."

I left the base and headed to the main capital where i would hopefully encounter and learn more about this Tatsumi.

Tatsumi's P.O.V

It was really late at night and ibwas out on the street's looking for some scumbag's to put down.

Tatsumi:"Where are they? This is starting to piss me off."

I had been looking for hour's and found not one person who was working for the scumbag minister and this continued for a long time until someone came out of the shadow's to confront me.

Tatsumi:"You've got quite the pair if you're coming to fight me."

????:"......"

Tatsumi:"How 'bout you drop the act, Taeko. I know it's you without a doubt."

She was surprised to see that i knew her even in an outfit i haven't seen her in.

Taeko:"So you can see through it, huh? Well-

-Let's put your skill's to the test, shall we?"

Tatsumi:"Don't hold back, however i will."

I drew Murasama from it's scabbard and prepared to battle against this woman, i knew from the start she was an assassin in disguise so i was prepared to fight her if she ever dared to raise a weapon to me. We then ran at eachother swinging our sword's in an attempt to injure the other.

Our blade's clashed together and sent spark's around the street's and building wall's. Durring our battle i attempted to fish out any information from her as i could.

Tatsumi:"Who hired you? Who's the bastard you're working for?"

Taeko:"You know who i work for, you just don't want to accept it. You've done your research and you know who we are and you know why i was sent."

Spark's continued to fly and our sword's continued to clash against one and other, but i managed to get a lucky strike in and cleaved her mask in two and making her jump back to avoid me striking her again while she made sure she wasn't wounded.

Taeko:(That blade really is tough, my mask was made of pure steel and it was destroyed just like that. Gah!)

I pulled out my pistol, Wrath and began to open fire on her but she was just barely quick enough to react and avoid being wounded by my bullet's. I was mildly impressed by her dodging abilities but i wasn't going to get lost in them, i quickly resheathed Murasama and unsheathed Yamato. She wasn't expecting me to switch sword's without warning but that was just the surprise i was looking for.

Taeko:(How in the world did he get a hold of Yamato? Didn't some big time Samurai have it?)

She kept on dodging my attack's until i attempted to reach for her weapon, she avoided it of course but then began to flee.

Tatsumi:"Get back here!"

Taeko:"We know thing's about you that you don't even know about yourself, consider that for the time being."

She threw down a smoke-bomb amd escaped without any further trouble, i was pissed at first but decided to get back to the hotel so i could sleep for the rest of the night.

Taeko's P.O.V

So he has a hold of Yamato as well, huh? This just got a whole lot harder a whole lot faster, i'm not getting paid enough for this.

But hey, maybe i'll get to see him again. Why do i even care?
