Chapter 83

"so? maybe not this time"

"Maybe. But should I tell Henry? Should I break up with him?"

"You should find out for sure if you're pregnant before you say anything" I say

"You're right. Thank you" she smiles and hugs me

"Let's go watch the game" I smile and extend my hand

She takes it and we sit on the couch

"IM COMING DONT START IT" screams Miles running in the living room still trying to put his shirt on

He was the last one to arrive

He takes the empty spot next to me

The game starts and people are hooting and hollering which seems quite unnecessary. I'm not into football that much but I enjoy watching it sometimes. I like soccer more.

About 20 minutes into the game when it was kind of boring, Miles rests his head on my shoulder.

"Tired?" I ask

He nods and closes his eyes. His arms wrap around my waist and pull me closer. He gets comfortable and instantly goes to sleep.

Well alright.

He wakes up about an hour later

"Your a nice pillow" he says in his sleepy voice

I swear sleepy voices are one of the hottest things ever

"Thanks" I giggle

With his eyes still closed he places his hand on my ...boob

When he notices what he did he yanks his hand back and opens his eyes

"OH CRAP OH MY GOSH IM SO SORRY I MEANT TO PUT IT ON YOUR SHOULDER"

"....Uhh ...you're good" I giggle

"...Sorry" he says as his cheeks get red

I think this is the first time I've ever seen him embarrassed

"You already said that" I laugh

"...I know"

I smile to myself and watch the tv again ....That was interesting

THE GAME IS FINALLY OVER WHOOO!

I go outside to sit on the porch swing and again, Miles sits next to me.

"Are you pissed?" He asks

"At who?" I ask

"Me"

"No why would I be pi- OHHH is this about the accidental boob grabbing?" I laugh "no I'm not pissed!"

"Oh. I thought that's why you left"

"No, I just wanted to be outside" I say

"Makes sense" he answers "if you don't mind telling me... How did you and Max get together? Like I literally didn't even know you guys knew each other until you started dating"

It's an odd question but I don't mind answering

"Would you like to know the whole story?"

"Sure" he smiles slightly

"Well, I met him the night that you cheated on me" the words come out harsher than intended "we met at the wedding that I went to. I hated him at first. A lot. I could not stand him"

He looks questioningly at me

"And then when we broke up, I went to Danes party with Hazel. I sat on a couch and noticed that he was there too. We started talking and I told him about our breakup and he consoled me and I felt safe with him. Then we ....kissed and blah blah" I say

"I would like to know what the blah blah is"

"....Undressing ...other stuff"

"Sex?"

"no."

"What?"

"...I've told you this!" I say a little annoyed "VIRGIN"

"Yea I know what you told me but once people get undressed... They have sex"

"Yea. That's actually what was going to happen." I say

"And?"

"And he didn't want to take my virginity because we barely knew each other" I say

"Wow. I like Max better now" he says

"Yea." I say " then we just started dating I guess"

"Huh" he says

Everyone else joins us outside.

We ordered pizza before the game and it literally JUST got here. They felt so bad that they gave us brownies and everything was free.

We ate outside in the patio. It was already dark but the torches provide just the right amount of heat and light.

I think I ate the most that I have ever eaten that night.

Miles laughs at me

"What?" I ask taking a bite out of my millionth brownie

"How are you so tiny?" He laughs "you eat as much as I do!"

I laugh and shrug

"I do not eat as much as you!"

"Yes you do" he says

"Whatever..." I say as I take another bite of these heavenly brownies

"And you drink coffee like you have never seen a drop of water in your life"

"I guess I'm just a thirsty person"

"I think we all know that" he laughs

"Stop picking on me!" I whine and punch his arm "just let me eat in peace"

He laughs and pats my head

I sigh and sip my coffee
