Chapter 27 | A New Story in the Castle

4 years later ....

The spring weather made the castle and the surrounding area look fabulously beautiful. The trees were green and the flowers bloomed. The whole estate was filled not only with life, but with light, and now it almost glowed in the depths of the forest.

The previously grey and dark walls inside and out were renewed and given a new color. The front yard was decorated with bushes a few meters high, while the backyard was decorated with flowering trees and pines and beautiful flowers, mainly roses and lavender. The huge light green lawn made the view of the estate really perfect.

On the back terrace, Lan Zhan sat at an outdoor table with Wei Ying's parents. During their conversation, Lan Zhan often looked into the distance, as his attention was captivated by the lively laughter of Wei Ying and little A-Yuan. They were near Lan Zhan, under a huge cherry blossom tree. 

Wei Ying sat on the concrete bench, watching his son with a delighted smile. A-Yuan sat on the grass before the bench, laughing and playing with the many bunnies surrounding him. After a while, Wei Ying sat down next to his son and put the bunny he was holding on his lap down among the other white and black bunnies. They both stroked the bunnies.

But this did not last long, as A-Yuan asked Cangse Sanren to join them. She immediately went down from the terrace and joined them, spending the afternoon with her son and grandson.

Meanwhile, the alphas remained at the table but were not sad that A-Yuan had not invited them. Lan Zhan and Wei Changze were already very familiar with the possessive nature of the young alpha.

As evening came, the castle was quiet and peaceful. Everyone was already in their own rooms, asleep.

Only one room remained bright. In the light blue room, the small lamps were still lit. The little star decorations hanging above the bed and in the window shone vividly, despite the low light.
